"Josh, what's a vision?"

I looked down at my younger cousin, who was sitting on my knee with a confused look on her face.

I chuckled lightly.

"What? Where'd you hear that from?"

Willow surveyed her tiny fingers in concentration, examining them like they were holding the answer.

"I heard mum talking about it today with Aunty Lauren. They said you were going to have a vision soon. What does that mean?"

I sighed quietly, trying to find a way to describe 'visions' to a 7 year old without it sounding too terrifying.

"Well, once you turn 18 youre legally allowed to choose whether or not you want to see your vision. It's kind of like a dream really. You don't get to decide on what you see, or how far into the future you go, it just kinda happens."

"Oh."

I smiled softly before kissing Willow's freckled-covered cheeks in a reassuring manner.

I hadn't had my vision yet since I was still 17, but my 18th birthday wasn't far away. I didn't know much about visions, apart from what I'd been told from the other boys and my mum. JJ had told us all about his soon after it had happened. It hadn't last long, but he was driving around in a Lamborghini. A fucking Lambo!

"Josh?"

I grew bored with Lily's endless questions and pulled my phone out to text Simon.

"Yeah?"

"You said visions are like dreams, But I don't always have good dreams. I had a nightmare last night."

I frowned down at Willow as she cuddled further into my chest. Her voice was barely above a whisper.

"What if your visions a nightmare?"
