There once was a girl, who played in an orchard, a beautiful and lively thing,
She played with the bright blue robins who twittered through the trees in the superb time of Spring.
Her joy was beyond compare, her laugh as soft as her cinnamon hair,
She was a pure, gallant and happy girl, a wonderful person in this sad little world.

She helped all and would give up anything to make someone smile,
The happiness and good nature of this girl could go on for a mile.
One day she hurt someone close to her gravely and thus where it began,
She loss her joy and darkness fell across the orchard's land.

Grief and regret filled her and her friends enforced her already great pain,
"How could you of all people do such a thing, are you insane?!"
She had nothing and no one, except for her little blue friends in the trees,
"What have I done, what has happened to me."

One day she sat against one of the orchard's trees,
It is there she decided from this pain and suffering she had to be freed.
She grabbed an old rope and made a necklace and tied it to the tree,
"I hope one day, deep in their hearts they will truly forgive me,"
She looked around the orchard and a robin flew to her shoulder and she nodded goodbye,
And hence that's how the girl who played in the orchard tragically died.
