Star Wars: The Old Republic: Beginning is about the Cold Squad, a squadron of the six finest troopers the Republic has ever seen. Saved for the trickiest and most important missions, the Cold Squad enforces the Republic military. After the death of a member, the Cold Squad needs a replacement. Ckam, the best of his class and Republic hero, is up for the job. His first mission as an elite commando, on the ninety percent water planet, Kanerii, is to destroy the Sith outpost that has been wreaking havoc on nearby Republic planets. But with the Republic entering a brutal war with the Sith Empire, being a part of the Cold Squad will be a big job. Can Ckam survive?
