-------------------------------------------"Please go away."
It was a Monday, and just like any other normal human being, Jeon Jungkook hated Mondays. Mondays meant there was still 4 more days of work ahead, meant that there was still 4 more days of gruelling paperwork and fulfilling the demands of fussy clients and the non-stop nagging of his boss. Not to mention 4 more days of his co-worker Jung Hoseok talking his ear off every minute of the day; the only peace he got was when he made a forced trip to the bathroom, and sometimes even that wasn't peaceful.
Don't get him wrong, he thought Hoseok was great, but that guy could not stop talking and screeching, which didn't help him regain his already wavering concentration in his work.
"Please, please go away," Jungkook muttered again, rubbing his temples as if begging was going to make the pounding in his head vanish.
"Here," Hoseok leaned over and passed him a water bottle, and Jungkook took it gratefully.
"Thanks," He mumbled before chugging half the bottle, making a motion to hand it back to the light brown haired boy next to him who simply waved it off and told him to keep it."I can cover the rest of your work, just go," Hoseok grinned, showing his big set of white teeth, and already shuffling Jungkook's assignment towards himself.
"What? No it's okay, don't worry," Jungkook tried to take it back but Hoseok gave him a look.
"You need rest, boy. Go home," Hoseok chuckled, and Jungkook smiled for the first time that day.
"You're amazing," He replied, quickly standing up and taking his remaining paperwork and laptop and shoving them into his bag, shrugging on his long black jacket.
"Of course I am, I'm your hope," Hoseok muttered with a good natured roll of the eyes as the pair bid goodbye and Jungkook strolled out of the office, heading for his black saloon parked in the car park.
He settled himself into the leather seat and sighed, before putting the key into the ignition and pulling out onto the road.
He was desperate for a good coffee.
Or maybe something sweeter, he wasn't sure.
He just needed a good beverage, and the crappy coffee sachets at home were not going to cut it, leaving the only option as going to a café.
With a slight frown, he glanced down the street as he drove, looking for something to catch his eye.
Just as he was about to give up and go home, a quaint little café on the corner of the street piqued the boy's interest.
Mini
The name was written in cursive cream writing on the light brown board. The café itself wasn't very busy; from what he could see there were only a few people sitting quietly. Perfect.
Parking his car on the roadside, he hopped out and stepped towards the cute little place, taking in his surroundings. It was done up in creams, browns and golds all complimenting each other, and Jungkook had to admit it was all very pleasant. A soft tune was drifting out of the speakers forming a relaxing atmosphere, and the vibe from the place was most definitely dulling Jungkook's headache.
Snapping out of his daze, he chose a small round table by the back corner, pulling out his laptop and papers and placing them on table, starting up his computer again before heading for the counter to order a drink.
"Hello, what can I get for you today?"
A grey haired boy, shorter than he was, was gazing at him, not with a smile but not with an unfriendly look either.
"Er..." Jungkook scanned the menu on the wall, debating internally before coming to a decision.
"A medium caramel macchiato, please."The barista nodded. "That's a good one," He half smiled, inputing the order. "Any thing else?"
Jungkook shook his head.
"Then that's £2.10."
Jungkook fumbled in his pockets before bringing out the requested change, and leaning on the counter as he waited for his drink.
"You can sit down, we'll bring it to you," The grey haired boy commented, and Jungkook glanced at the boy's name tag.
"Ah, thanks...Yoongi," He nodded and the barista offered a smile before turning away.
Jungkook sat in his seat, leaning back on his chair as he stretched his arms.
As he stretched his neck, his eyes fell on the open door of the kitchen, and he did a double take. There, scrubbing the dishes, was the most handsome guy Jungkook had ever seen, with dark browny black hair parted off centre and framing his face perfectly. Sculpted cheekbones and a button nose paired with a pair of plump pink lips. Just then the boy laughed at something his co-worker had said, his eyes crinkling into crescents and his mouth showing off a set of perfectly white teeth.
Jungkook's jaw dropped.
Who is he?
