"Come on Jimin, there are three orders waiting," Yoongi complained, as he helped Jimin make the food and drinks.
"Sorry hyung," Jimin apologised, quickening his pace and balancing a tray on either arm before heading out to the tables.
Suddenly Yoongi remembered the customer from yesterday and the day before.
The tall male with raven coloured hair, doe eyes and dressed in a suit. Must be a businessman or office man, for definite. With that briefcase, Yoongi was sure that he worked in an office. Not that he really cared. He found the fact that he caught the guy staring at Jimin more amusing. Just then the latter returned to the kitchen, asking him why he was smirking to himself.
"Oh, no reason," Yoongi glanced at the clock, which showed quarter past five, and if Yoongi's guess was correct, the boy would show himself again any moment now. "No reason at all."
"Did you get his name? Number? Did you? Did you?!"
Hoseok grabbed his colleague's arm and shook it back and forth, much to Jungkook's discomfort."Hyung please," He whined, shaking off the elder, but Hoseok was persistent.
"Did you get his name?"
"No," Jungkook admitted quickly, receiving a smack to the back of the head.
"Ow!" Jungkook rubbed the back of his head, glaring at Hoseok who took no notice of him.
"You're useless. You've been twice already, and you still don't even know his name! I'm disappointed in you," He frowned, but in good natured way.
"Why don't go find out then," Jungkook grumbled, and Hoseok smirked.
"Fine, do tell me the name of the café."
"Mini."
"Mini?" Hoseok chuckled. "Why Mini?"
"How am I supposed to know?!" Jungkook rolled his eyes at his annoying hyung.
"Fine. I'll go ask myself. And I'll get the cutie's number too." Hoseok grinned slyly.
"...hell no. He's mine. Stay away," Jungkook growled and Hoseok emitted a laugh.
"Then get out of here and actually make a move, stupid."
"Let me guess. A caramel macchiato?" Yoongi gave a half smile. Called it, he thought to himself. He knew the boy would show up again.
"You guessed it," Jungkook chuckled, already having the money ready and handing it over.
"And, erm...."
"Yeah?" Yoongi cocked his head as he waited for the younger to speak.
"Can you make sure it's made by the...boy with black hair please? You know, the small one," Jungkook mumbled, not looking the barista in the eye as he felt heat seeping through his face.
Yoongi noticed the blush immediately and grinned smugly, but didn't say anything about it, just nodded.
"Sure thing."
Come on Jungkook. Ask the boy's name.
"And...Yoongi?"
"Hmm?" The older replied, shifting things in the rack behind him.
"Can you tell me the name of-"
"Yoongi!"
Yoongi winced slightly at the call. "Aaand that will be Jin hyung, I must have spilled something," He muttered to himself before heading for the kitchen, leaving Jungkook with a frown on his face, unable to finish his question.
Jin hyung? No way was the boy older than Yoongi, so it can't be this 'Jin' person.
Reluctantly, Jungkook went back to sit at the table, not even being able to see him through the kitchen door window.
Sigh.
Just as Jungkook was chiding himself for not being able to ask the boy himself, a voice broke him out of his thoughts.
"Here you go, enjoy...oh, it's you again!" The deep voice spoke, showing Jungkook the same big grin.
"Hi...Taehyung?" Jungkook greeted, reading off the barista's name tag.
"That's me," He nodded, setting the cup on the table. "Oh and Yoongi hyung told me to tell you that this is specially made by 'the boy with black hair, the small one,'" Taehyung repeated using quote marks, giving Jungkook a shrug showing he had no idea but relayed the message anyway.
Jungkook could feel the heat in his face again as it struck him that maybe, this Yoongi person had figured out that he may have a little crush on his colleague.
"Ah, okay...thanks," Jungkook smiled, which the boy returned before spinning around and heading back.
"I told him Yoongi hyung!" Taehyung grinned as he swept back into the kitchen, and Jungkook cringed inwardly, especially seeing as Yoongi looked up at him from the counter and smirked.
Yep, he knew.
With a sigh, Jungkook finished off his drink, savouring the last drop before standing up, observing Taehyung who had come back out again to serve another customer.
"Ah, hey, Taehyung," Jungkook grabbed the barista's arm before he could head back inside, suddenly remembering the conversation with Hoseok earlier.
"Yeah? Can I help you?"
"Why is this café called Mini?"
"Mini?" Taehyung chuckled, not expecting the question.
"Well it's because the café is owned by the two brothers, well they're not blood brothers because Yoongi is adopted but yeah they're still brothers and we like to collectively call them Mini cos they're both short and Yoongi hyung's full name is Min Yoongi and his younger brother's name is-"
Before Taehyung's rattle could get to the part Jungkook wanted to hear, a loud smash broke his words.
"Oh!" Taehyung spun around and spotted the source of the sound - a little girl had dropped a glass, causing it break into little pieces.
"It's alright, it's alright," Taehyung smiled, rushing over to sweep it up and leaving Jungkook to walk out of the café to pull his hair out over the fact that getting one boy's name should not be this difficult.
