Finally reaching the door I bursted through without much care. Everyone stopped and set their gaze upon me. Not one moving until I broke the silence.

“What time did Alpha James leave the pack house?" I said, practically ordering them.

Probably not a typical question a girl might ask but the shock on their faces almost made me laugh. I held my composure and spoke for the second time.

“I don't have all day. What time did Alpha leave the Pack house?" Holding back my agitation.

“Why do you care?!" A voice shouted across the room.

Craning my neck, I searched for the person who spoke out.

“Why do you care?" My eyes went cold, “You despise Alpha James, don't you?" A sickly grin appearing on her face.

Clenching and un clenching my hands I spoke, “Listen, I don't have long. Now what time did he leave," Adverting my eyes towards the rest of the pack.

“He left About 30 minutes ago," said Caty. Giving her a nod i turned toward the others.

“I need the best fighters now. Something's wrong."

“How do you know," said a small boy. He looked about 4 years, dark curly hair, deep brown eyes and dimples. He was a cute one. He was standing infront of a spitting image of him, his father.

“I just know, Now we need to hurry." Raising my voice at the last statement.

“We need to hurry!" I shouted. Startling the others.

I ended up with 15 of the best fighters. All saying farewell to their loved ones. They're not gonna need a goodbye. Hidding a bit of envy when they wrapped their arms around their mates and children. My mind quickly focused on James and how he needed us right now.

Quickly jogging outside we shifted. Concentrating on the familiar warmth inside my chest, I relaxed. A deep vibration sounded in my chest before my canines elongated. The warmth spreading through my body until I stood on four hairy paws.

We need to hurry. He's in trouble,' I said.

‘Alright,' They said simultaneously.

*********

Following the faint scent of the group, we were lead into a field not even 7 miles out.

‘Do you smell that?' said one of the fighters. He raised his nose and took a long whiff.

‘No what is it?'

‘There were more than the others here. About five of them.'

‘Shit, but where did the others go?'

‘I don't know but I smell blood.'

At that moment The pain from earlier returned but not as hurtful. Raising my gigantic head I howled. Not from pain but from the very thought he was hurt and I knew he was.

‘let's go,' I said and trying to keep the pain from my voice.

Shooting from my back legs I pushed forward. I ran and ran, at the same time following the distant scent. I was really only paying attention to one scent though. His Alluring scent- the same one I smelt the first time our family joined the pack- Filling my nostrils.

I launched myself foward. Feeling the wet earth as my paws dig through the ground.

Moments later my heart dropped. I didn't tell him. Shit. I didn't tell him!! I must've been the most pathetic person.“Oh you'll tell him because were watching." His words playing repeatedly in my head. Damn, they probably were Watching me. How can I be stupid and forget the threat he gave me.
