"I know you. You were at Frank's apartment." I uttered. He raised his eyebrows from confusion.
"Frank? You mean Nikki?" He asked. Nikki? Really?
"Whatever. What are you doing here? How did you find me anyways?" I questioned.
"You left your keys at our place, so Nikki told me to bring them over. And I followed you here." He replied. Everyone follows people around here, don't they?
"Well um.. thanks I guess. Bye." I said quietly, taking the keys from him and started to close the door. He held his hand out to stop it from closing.
"What are you-"
"You're really beautiful. I wanna get to know you." He said, cutting me off. My cheeks started turning red and my face got warm.
"Um.. thank you. But I don't know..." I murmured. He pursed his lips looking disappointed. His eyes started trailing my arms.
"Hey, what are those on your arm?" He asked, referring to all the tiny scars covering it. This is why I don't like wearing things exposing my bare skin.
"Nothing." I said, now trying to change the subject. "Look, I wouldn't feel comfortable going out with Fra- I mean Nikki's friend."
"Please? Just give me a chance." He nearly begged.
"Well um.. I don't know. I'm sorry." I muttered, quickly shutting the door in his face.
How odd. I was just about to make my way back to my room, but heard another knock. Maybe Sara this time? I walked back to the front door and it revealed Sara who was overwhelmed with all the paper bags she had been lugging. I laughed at her and helped her with them, carrying them to the kitchen counter.
"So who was the blonde that just walked away from the apartment?" She asked while taking various things out from the bag.
"No one." I replied emotionlessly while digging through the bags for a nice bottle of Tylenol.
"Well whoever he was, he looked pretty upset." She called out from her room, where she was now changing. No, I can't trust anyone affiliated with Frank.
"Oh?" I asked as if I had no idea what she was talking about. She walked out of her room wearing a baggy Aerosmith shirt covering her shorts, making it look as if she had absolutely no pants on. She ran her fingers through her long, chocolate brown hair and raised her eyebrows at me.
"Alright whatever, I can see you don't wanna talk about this." She grumbled.
I had finally found the Tylenol and took a few pills with a glass of water. They made me incredibly tired so I stumbled to my room and fell asleep right when my head hit the pillow.
