"Hey, you little slut." My father hissed at me. He walked into my room and slammed the door behind him. "Your mother's not home and we've got a little time ourselves..." He said, slowly creeping towards me on my bed.

"Oh look at your arms bitch, you've been cutting, haven't you? Good." My breathing had become irregular and I felt like I was going to throw up. No. Not again. Please, not again. I opened my mouth to beg him to not do this, but the words had gotten stuck in my throat.

"Don't say anything. Don't worry, I'll make it easier on you this time. That's how nice I am." He whispered into my ear while I had been whimpering.

"Shut up ugly whore." He spat at me. His hands were traveling down my pants and he began to tear them off. I screamed as loud as I could, but that made things a lot worse for me.

"Oh you're gonna get it bitch..."

I launched up from my bed covered in sweat, and I was screaming hysterically. No, not the nightmares again. The nightmares started when I was 16 and only stopped a few years ago. Tears had been streaming my face and quickly fell onto the sheets. The room was dark, and it was around midnight according to my clock. All of a sudden, Sara came storming into my room.

"Jo?! What the hell was that? Are you okay?" She panicked, turning on the lights. I sat on my bed, frozen and she sat down beside me.

"Was it... the nightmares." She asked carefully. I nodded slowly, trying to keep my tears from flowing. She hugged me and started rubbing my back.

"Oh no. I thought they had stopped.." She uttered. I had known her for a while. I met her when I had been taken to a metal facility when I was about 15. She had been in there for a year because of severe depression and got out before me, but continued visiting me. We've been close ever since, and I started living with her after my mother died two years ago.

"He's still out to get me." I said, voice trembling. She took her head off me shoulder to look straight into my eyes.

"No, he's not. He's in jail for life. He's never going to find you." She tried to assure me.

"No matter where he is, he'll be haunting me forever." I whispered.

"You'll be okay. Please try to get some sleep honey."

"Why did this happen again.." She sighed to herself.

Oh my god, Nikki. "I think I might know why." I said slowly.

"Why?" She asked.

"Remember how I went home with someone the other day, but I wouldn't tell you who?"

She nodded slowly, but had a questioned look on her face.

"Well... it was Frank. But I did not go with him willingly. I.. I got really drunk and passed out, then he brought me to his apartment. And the blonde that came to the apartment yesterday? That was his friend." I explained.

"Oh hell no, not him." She said angrily. She bolted up off of the bed.

"I'm gonna go to his place and give him a piece of my mind." She called out, quickly walking to her room to change. I ran after her, in attempt to stop her.

"No! Please don't! It's midnight for God's sake! And I just don't want you involved in this!" I pleaded. She's 2 years younger than me, but she's always acting like my mom.

"I can't just ignore this! You're my best friend, and I've seen you at your worst! I don't want to see you like that again!" She argued, ready to open the door.

"Alright, where's the apartment?" I sighed and just decided to tell her. She huffed and ran out the door. There's no way to stop her when she's this determined.

Well, there's only one thing I'll have to do then. I'm following her. I didn't care to wipe all the sweat off of me and just grabbed my jacket and slipped sneakers on then ran after her.
