Chapter I

Faith Michaels.

Someone's holding me down.

I can't scream.

No one can hear me.

I took a deep breath and it was gone. That anxiety and panic was all gone. Why was this shit happening to me? I have to stop thinking about it.

My phone started ringing, interrupting my thoughts; Mia💓🐰 flashed across my screen.

Mia was my best friend. She had brown skin and was beauty at its finest. Her body was amazing, slim thick standing at 5'6, had curly mid-back length hair. We grew up together and I would be lying if I said she wasn't my everything

"Hey mama!" I cheered through the phone.

"Hey beautiful, you're still coming today right?" She sounded sad like she felt I was going to say no.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world. You good though?" I heard her sigh through the phone.

"I think I'm okay. I finally got a chance to breathe since the clock stroke twelve; Ghost has been killing my puss-"

"Okay Mi enough. I don't need to know all that." I said cutting her off laughing.

Ghost is Mia's "man". I put man in quotations because those two are just... I can't even find the words to explain them. They've been fucking with each other since we were in high school and I'm honestly shocked they're still both alive. I promise you if you were ever stuck in a room with them you'd think you were about to witness a murder!

"Girl, you are no damn fun. Where's my bestie Kory?" She said smacking her teeth.

"I don't even know where he's at. I just woke up and he wasn't in bed but I'm bout to take a shower and brush my teeth. I have to feed Kascius soon." I kissed her through the phone and hung up.

Everything just seemed so weird to me right now, I never get night terrors anymore. I couldn't even tell you when my last one was.

I felt the bed sink and felt warm muscular arms snake around me.

"Hey baby." I heard Korahn's sweet voice in my ears. His voice just puts a smile on my face.

I turned my face to him giving him a peck on his lips.

"Did you even brush your teeth yet? Don't kiss me." He scrunched his face, making me laugh.

"Stop being annoying. Where's my son Kory?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"OUR son is down for his first nap of the day. I didn't want to wake you when he got up." He pulled away.
