Everyone as they look up: roger that.

Owen: the alphas angry.

Everyone: oh shit.

Screech

Owen: everyone run!

Nathaniel: don't have to tell me twice

Everyone runs away as they shoot the "lizard birds".

Owen: that should be all of them except the alpha.

SCREECH

Owen: everyone shoot her down!

2 minutes later

Nathaniel: finally, we killed terror bird.

Owen: did you just make that joke?

Nathaniel: yes, yes i did.

Evryone but nathaniel facepalms. Then they head back to base.
