Drunk

So me and my Mom talked a little about her life.
" I left your father. Well I was pregnant with twins, Grace and Cody". She said softly.
"We were in love, nobody could separate us. Every day he would compliment me, but one day it was just a little bit more than I wanted.
So I ran away and snuck behind the house well he ran after me. I walked back in, grabbed the babies and left". She said.
I completely understood. If Zack gave me a compliment everyday for sure I would leave him. So I nodded my head.
" I loved him but I had to leave. There was this man that was threatening me by saying he will torture him. So I fled. So you see it wasn't just the compliments." I nodded my head again .
She got up and left. "Goodbye." We said at the same time.

I got to my house and walked to the door.
I've been having mixed feelings about Zack. I like him but I also like Kirk.
That is right I like my best friend.
He's cute and funny don't forget smart.
But Zack Is strong, tall and cool.
They are so different.
Butter, my puppy ran up to me with a chicken leg in his mouth.
" Kids have you seen a chicken leg anywhere?" My dad shouted from the kitchen.
" Yes, you would not want to eat it though". I stated.
"Why?"He asked puzzled
I giggled and pointed to Butter.
"Oh". He said

After supper my dad started talking about a woman he met.
I could care less really I like Kylie better.
"She was your mother Kylie." He said
Wait is this seriously happening. I thought to myself
"Yes, I've met her. She is a very nice woman." I  acted grown-up
"So do you like her?" He asked
"Yes I do." I said

So practically that is how our conversation went on.
I'm so happy for my dad and my mom. They love each other.
Or is that a bad thing.

I walked to my room and sat on the bed. Butter jumped on me with his claws out. I walked to the bathroom and cleaned up my leg.

I had three scratches. Two on my legs and one on my arm.

I looked to see where he jumped from. He was on the top of my bookshelf sitting on Princess In Love.
That book is the best book in the world.

I looked around and I did not see Butter.
I heard a whimper come from under the bed.
Butter was sitting there curled up under the bed. His paws were sticking out from the bed, so when I pit him on my lap I got a couple scratches.
Lets just say I'm sitting on the toilet lid putting bandages all over my legs. Again

I get a phone call from my mom saying that I get to meet the twins.
So of course I jump and skip around the bathroom. My older brother knocks on the door. "Did you just dig a hole to China?" He asks with curiosity in his voice.
" Yeah, No." I say. Why would I dig a hole in the bathroom? I think about how that would look.
He chuckles silently and walks away.

I open the door of the bathroom and see my dad glaring at me.
I look down to see his eyes and hes not very happy.
"Took you long enough." He said tapping his foot.
I giggled and walked out the door.

I walked down the hall and to the kitchen, where I saw a perfectly made roast chicken.
I also smelt the aroma of noodles cooking on the stove.
I pulled out a chair at our island and started to eat.
"Jessie, Why are you eating at three thirty in the morning?" My sister asked.
"Oh, well. Thats why there is only half a chicken." I sated
"But why is dad up". I asked
"He has to go to work". She said

I went to bed at three thirty in the morning.
I woke up at nine forty five.
Dang it I'm late for school
"Dad." I said " I'm up."
The sound of rain made me look out the window
I looked at the clock
Dang it's Saturday.

Emily, My twin made her way toward me.
" Shut up. I can hear you from down in the basement." She said

Monday
"Class do any of you know what is under us?" Asked Mr James or science teacher
Brayden raised up his hand
" Yes Mr Taylor." The teacher said
" Well above us is heaven so under us is hell." He stated matter of factly.
"No Mr Taylor. Under us is the center of the earth, where it is usually very hot." Mr James said.
"Oh..." Brayden said
Lunch
"But Brayden is so hot." Alyssa, my best friend said
"So is the center of the earth." I said
Brayden walked up to us and swung his arm over her shoulder.
"Were you talking about how hot I was or, how hot I was." Brayden said
I swallowed my food and coughed. "So you're not hot anymore. You just said and I quote how hot I was or how hot I was."
He put his hand to his heart and scoffed.
He mumbled the word "Rude."
I giggled and kept eating my salad.
I sprinkled some parmesan cheese on my salad and shoved my fork in.
I belched, really really loud.
"Excuse me." I said as I felt the heat rushing to my cheek
" Oh. My. Gosh." Alyssa said
Brayden chuckled " Eww. You burp like a man."
I put my hand to my heart "That hurts right here." I said and patted my chest.
He chuckled and we ( Alyssa and I) giggled.

I made my way to Math class  and sat down at my desk my Alyssa
" Brayden kissed me." She said to Samantha and Danny
" Stop bragging." Brittany said. Brittany only said that because she has a huge crush on Brayden. When I say huge I mean huge.
I laughed at her " Somebody is jealous." I waggled my eyebrows
"Am not." She said blushing.

I walked home and opened the door.
There I saw my mom kissing my dad.
Drunk.
