I'm sitting there texting Alexis. Ding! Braden? "Hey babe do you wanna hang for our anniversary?" I think for a moment. I mean I would love to but I'm supposed to meet Alexis at the mall. "Sure when?" I gotta call Alexis. Buzz! Alexis!! "LACEY OMG!!! RYAN ASKED ME TO GO OUT WITH HIM!!!!!!" Ryan is one of the popular guys at school. I'm texting back asking all these questions when all of a sudden Braden texts me. "Surprise okay?" Laughing I text him back "Wow" I call Alexis telling her I can't make it. It's almost five and I'm wearing my of pajamas!! I turn down the hall and into my room. What shall I wear? I slide into a dress that has ocean blue flowers while the dress is black. I grab my phone, bathing suit, car keys, and my sunglasses. I hop in my truck and race to Braden's house. I walk to his door and a little note was hanging from it. Meet me where we had our first kiss -B. The river? Good thing I brought my bathing suit. I hop back into my truck and drive all the way to the river. I change in the truck. I sit there for a second thinking. What if he's gonna break up with me! I stop at the gravel and turn off my truck. Here goes nothing. I see a head pop from the river. "Hey gorgeous. You're looking smoking as usual." He smiles and winks. "Stop kissing ass." I laugh and drop my keys in my purse. I jump in and splash him in the face. "Hey!" He yells. Laughing I swim toward him. He laughs too and waits for me to come near him. Once I get there he kisses me. Smiling I kiss him back slowly. He wraps his hands around my waist and I wrap my hand around his neck. I pull away telling him I got to go meet up with someone. He stops but understands. "I love you Lacey." He calls behind him. I hop into my truck and text Alexis. Meet me at the mall okay? I put in my keys and start it up. Ding! From Alexis. I can't make it to the mall Lacey, Sorry. Sighing I put my foot on the pedal waiting for a car to pass. I pull out thinking: I'm such a stupid person. I look up into the sky and see a giant ship.
