To remember a forgotten past (A Tmnt AU)

Ch 3. Enter miss O'Neil pt 2

"...Then I was thrown into a van other kids there were animals to and that's all I remember. The rest is just... Blank." April looked back at Irma to find they she was still writing.

When she stopped she looked at her sister slowly going over every word she heard. Then it was question time.

"Alright so first question... Did you see any of the other children's faces?"

"Not really."

"Hmmm... What about the animals can you remember what kind they were?"

April thought for moment then the answer hit her.

"Most of them were reptiles or anfibians... I think."

Irma quickly jotted down the information onto her notepad for later use.

"How did you now that they were reptiles?"

"Most of them were in glass cases that's how."

Irma thought for a moment ' she can't remember the faces of the other kids but does remember the types of animals that were there... Why does this remind me of that time we went to the zoo and April got lost... She was 16 that day.

"And the rest is just blank?"

"Sometimes..."

"What do you mean sometimes?" Irma asked slightly filled with hope that April may have remembered something.

" Well... When I go to sleep I can see walls they are kinda blurry but I could make out the colors white and purple. " April said trying to recall the exact details of the dream.

"Was there anything else that you saw or heard?"

"I could always hear something mechanical and some times..." April paused then sighed and said "screams." She said bitterly

This made Irma stop and star in shock could they have been screams of the other missing children. She was then surprised when April continued.

"The weird thing is that I think those screams were mine not someone elses."

There was a long silence between the two till April got up and took the now empty cups of coffee and walked into the kitchen. Irma got up to follow and help deciding that questioning was over, now it was time to spend some time with her little sis.

When the dishes were cleaned and put away Irma asked if it was okay to catch a movie. Since she to had the day off and wanted to make up for asking such 'sensitive' information about April's past. She agreed and asked if they could stop by a restaurant because she didn't have breakfast this morning.

Irma laughed and said. "Alright but your paying."

With the plans of today decided they headed outside forgetting the about both of there pasts and enjoy the present.

Sorry if this chapter is to short but hay better then nothing
