Chapter 24~ Luna Lovegood

(Draco)

I grabbed my mask and cloak and walked out the door. Once again I cast every locking charm I knew then began walking back downstairs.

I slipped to cloak on as I walked down stairs seeing my two best friends waiting for me.

"Is everyone ready?" I asked in an affirmative tone.

"Yes Draco." My aunt said happily.

"Let's go then. We will go straight threw the front door letting the filthy blood-traitors know just who is in charge." I said with a smirk.

I watched Draco as he left and smiled softly. As much as I wished to be out there helping others I knew I couldn't. Through I will never say it aloud Draco is right, this is the safest place for me right now. He even offered to get a home away from the manor so I would feel better. Maybe I'll talk to him and accept the offer, after all I'm sure he doesn't want to be here ether.

As I looked at the books along the shelf I spotted one on magical creatures and where to find them. A smile spread across my face, it seems like the kind of book Luna would love.

I wonder how she is doing right now.

We burst into the school with the help of my Aunt, one of the first faces I saw was Luna. I turned to Pansy and nodded. Silently I shot a stunning curse at Luna as Pansy aimed a killing curse just above Luna's head making it seem like we killed her. She fell to the floor holding something in her hand.

Turning to Pansy we shared a nod and she walked up prying the paper from Luna's hands carefully not letting Aunty see. Quickly she pocketed the paper and we continued walking through the empty halls.

Suddenly a loud blast came from the right side of me, turning I see my Aunty has stumbled upon some muggle-borns. I quickly cast a charm so they would not feel pain but I couldn't stop my aunt, then they would know about me, then Hermione would be in danger. That I could not let happen.

I laid on my stomach in the soft bed with Draco's dragon resting on my shoulders. The book was one I had yet to read and was a interesting tale of a Hufflepuff man who talks about the different creatures. I smiled sadly thinking about all my friends, but Luna just prodded out of my memory I just could not figure why. All I knew is this gut feeling was there, not one that she is in danger but one that she just did something she will get in trouble for.

Our group walked down to the Elf's kitchens and my suspicions were true, that's where most of the students were. Thankfully Blaze, Pansy, and myself wore our masks or there would be hell to pay.

Among the students I saw quite a few of the D.A. members.

Longbottom was one of them.

"Where is Luna?" He growled to us.

"Dead." Aunty said with a malice look.

I pulled off my mask and looked Longbottom in the eyes.
