Ok I'm cryin a whole lot
Alright so I definitely believe that Harry would be the best boyfriend out of all of the boys, or like the most rewarding? Cause I feel like it'd obviously be tough to get to girlfriend status with him because he exhibits a bit of an attention problem but after you've tied him down for a while your relationship would just be filled with joy after joy. Just with all of his personality characteristics put together, there's too much to gain from being his long time girlfriend that I see going a long long wayyy.
The thing with Harry though, is that it'd take a lot to get there. Dating him definitely does not solidify your chances of being his girl and that's the most difficult thing about all of this. Harry could probably "date" someone for months and months and still probably wouldn't feel comfortable calling them his "girlfriend". With Harry, I don't think it's time that defines the relationship but the person. If that girl is not the right paradoxical balance of humorous, laidback, driven, intelligent, modest, confident, spontaneous, mature, immature, caring, reliant, and independent, then they will probably end up drifting apart and going separate ways eventually-that's how specific I see Harry's girlfriend-search being. And he wouldn't do this consciously; Harry would never sit around pick out the things he finds wrong with a girl, in fact I see him trying extra hard to make a shitty relationship work because he craves stability so badly. He'd never sit back and say "hmm she's not smart and clever enough for me," but he'd catch himself having to explain his jokes to her all the time; He would never think to himself "ahh she's too boring for my taste" but he'd probably get sick and tired of her wanting to stay inside of the house on most nights instead of exploring the city with him or going on some beautiful getaway vacation to the West Indies. He'd wonder why she doesn't, unlike him, have many ambitions even though they're already financially stable; he'd find himself put off by the fact that she refuses to enjoy a One Direction concert because of "all the little girls" and their screams. Harry would never be able to pinpoint what was wrong in a relationship, but he'd always know when it's not right and eventually force himself to get out of it. He's on the search for that one girl that makes everything feel right, and trust me he'll find her.
Now enough about the girl that Harry doesn't want, let's talk about the girl that he does want-you. Harry would probably know you were the one from the get-go, because of the way you made his heart flutter and stomach cave in, or the way you made him laugh when nothing was really that funny. That first accidental meeting at brunch when a mutual friend had the two of you sit together at the restaurant would be filled with lots of laughs and good vibes. But he'd tuck away that feeling yet again, knowing it to be all too familiar and misleading. After two or three more times together, maybe with a second date at the park and a third date at a One Direction concert (Yes, a One Direction concert), he'd find himself getting so into you that it would scare him. That park date would include lots of in-depth conversation about politics and personal stuff. He'd admire your strong opinion on gender equality and let you do all the talking on the subject, while he sat there in awe of your broad intelligence and independence. He'd try to get you to talk about your childhood fears, and even though you'd refuse, he'd find out anyway when you'd jump off of the blanket he'd laid out and take off running from a seemingly harmless butterfly that was inches from your face. The third date sounds like a wash, but it's not (I promise!). So the two of you would want to hang out a third time but he would be on tour by then (luckily in close proximity to your hometown). He'd hook you up with a backstage pass and decent seats for the show, hoping you'd have a good time and promising that you'd get to see him afterwards. The show would be an absolute blast, you'd "wOOO" and "wEEEE" and sing along the entire time, and Harry would wave and wink at you every so often. You'd even notice him generally gravitating towards your side of the stage during most of the show anyway, and kind of showing off physically with goofy dance moves and singing acrobatics every time he got close to you. After that show you'd catch him backstage and his face would absolutely light up at the sight of you. You'd see Niall nudge him and Zayn smirk at him as you approached, but you'd pretend you hadn't seen anything and greet Harry with a hug. You'd laugh about how much fun you had and he would say how surprised he was that you knew the words to so many One Direction songs. Soon enough it'd be 45 minutes later with his dressing room door shut and Harry in nothing but a tank top and jeans because he was sweaty from the show and you'd be on the couch inching closer and closer to each other as the hustle and bustle of managing 1D ensued outside the dressing room door but the two of you would sit there engaged in conversation, being lost in each other's words and eyes and faces and suddenly you'd be this. close. to each other, at which point Harry would just stop talking and bring his hand to your face which would make yOU stop talking, and he'd be silently tucking your hair behind your ear and then bringing that hand to the bottom of your chin to make you look him in the eyes and you two would kind of sit there for a moment while you heard a thud outside and then Niall laughing and then Liam and Zayn laughing too because Niall probably fell but neither you nor Harry even bat an eyelash because you're 2 more seconds away from kissing and finally you both lean in shut your eyes and yeAH :((( cute first kiSs :((((
