Madison's POV

Darren had clapped in my face to get my attention. He smiled innocently while saying, "Madison, may you please answer the question that I had just asked you." Although he made it sound like a question, it was an order. I stared at him blankly before he sighed and said loud enough so that everyone can hear,"Ms. Knight you have detention with me during lunch".

Five minutes later the bell rang signalling the first period had finally ended. I was packing my stuff up slowly when Darren asked me to stay back for a couple minutes. Until attention was shifted to a beautiful girl who looked like she had on too much makeup, her top was so low I thought that if she moved too much her breasts would fall out and her skirt was way too short to be classified as an article of clothing.

She made her way over to Darren who shivered, in what I think was disgust, when she tried to give him a seductive smirk. He for the first time that I have known him looked scared. She reached him and touched his bicep when he said calmly, "Miss. Ferguson if you do not remove your hand I will report you. And Just so you know I am married to the most amazing woman already. "

She huffed as he flicked her hand off of him and stomped away. Slamming the door behind her on the way out. Darren turned to me smiling like an idiot and I couldn't help but smile as well. I walked up to him seductively and asked, "Does my seductive walk turn you on right now?"
His eyes turned to a darker shade of hazel green. He strode to me, kissed with so much lust I couldn't think about the place we were in or the relationship we were supposed to have. We pulled apart when a knock was heard at the door. Out of panic I ran and hid under a fully covered desk. I almost coughed when the smell of this toxic perfume filled the entire classroom. I mind linked Darren to ask who was it at the door. But before he could answer I heard a female  voice that sounded familiar. She then asked, " So Mr. Knight would you like to go on a date with me? " when he was about to reply she interrupted him, " oh what am I asking. Of course you want to go on a date with moi. I mean who wouldn't "
My blood boiled until Darren spoke "Ms. Paty, I am honored that-"and he raised his hand to stop her before she could interrupt him,"you asked me to go on a date with you but I am happily married to an amazing woman. "

"But Darren how could you marry someone who is not your mate. I am your one and only mate-" but before she could finish her sentence, he had her by her throat growling loud at her. I thought about if I should stop or leave him be. But went against my better judgement I went to stop him from killing her. I touched his biceps and whispered to him to let her go. Slowly his hand loosened his hold and eventually she fell to the floor catching her breath and coughing. She got up a little wobbly and growled at my hand on his arm. I growled loudly using my Luna Queen tone, "Do not even dare growl at me pup. I am your Luna Queen and I just saved you from the Alpha King's wrath. And yet you are not grateful. " she tilted her head and bowed as a sign of respect and submission. She left the room with her head down and her tail tucked between her legs.

Darren had to write me a late excuse to my next period teacher. I personally loved History and Mrs. McLeod (McCloud) make it even more interesting. Recess came quicker than expected. Then the first of the three periods was somewhat boring. When English A and B came around we had to different classes for the subjects, so we had to do the introduction process and it was beginning to get a little tedious.

Lunch soon came around when we most needed it. Since I had 'detention' I had to stay in class with Darren.
