Avery Marin's life was as normal as it could get. She was 18 and lived in an apartment alone in Chicago. The down side of her life was that she was an only child and that her parents were dead. To her, life couldn't get any worse. But who knew that was possible? Vampires don't exist, according to Avery. They were made up blood sucking creatures who only appeared in books and movies. But when Avery is kidnapped by one - or well, five - she finds her life spiraling out of control in the worst way possible. To Avery, her life is getting out of hand. She hates being stuck in a house with five blood thirsty creatures. They want to make her feel safe, but that's something she will never feel with them. But the certain curly haired vampire wants to make sure she's okay and safe with them. And he'll do anything to make Avery feel at home, no matter how much they have ruined her life.
