Ok, first of all, thank you guys so much for reading! It means sooo much to me! Please leave me feedback. Your feedback always makes my day, weather its good or bad.
And second, I want to apologize in advance about the weird spacing. Wattpad always changes it and I can never get it back to how it was before. So spacing is a little weird. Sorry.
Thank you!!

Six Years Ago
"Peter Crow?" she asked, shocked.
"The one and only!" he smiled.
"What do you want?" she asked, her tone bitter.
"I'm sure you can guess."
Her mother said nothing.
The girl groaned. Ten year old Alexis had just started to fall asleep when the sound of voices brought her out of her doze. She glanced at the clock and groaned again. Who came at 11:30 at night anyways? She’d never heard her parents mention a Peter Crow. Her curiosity getting the better of her, she stretched and crept silently out of bed. Fully awake, she made her way silently down the stairs, paying close attention to the ones that creaked if you put too much weight on them.
"You would make it so much easier if you just gave it to us," said one of the three men. Alexis, now at the bottom of the stairs, craned her neck to get a better look a the man. He had white hair, pale grey eyes, and a stone cold face. Just looking at him gave Alexis shivers. She was thankful you couldn't see the stairs from the front door.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know what your talking about." That was Alexis's mom, Clarisse.
"You know perfectly well what we're talking about."
Alexis sure didn't.
"James?" called Clarisse. She sounded nervous.
Her father must have heard it to, because he came running in. Clarisse whispered something in
his ear.
"Well, well well, if it isn't James Gredonson!"
James looked up, surprised. The surprise turned to disgust.
"Peter Crow," he said, his eyes narrowed.
The man smiled, an evil smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
"Now, if you could just hand it over, we'll be on our way."
"Hand what over?" asked her father fiercely.
Peter Crow sighed.
"We're going to have to do this the hard way," he said, and with that he pulled out a gun.
Alexis, who was now behind the couch, gasped.
Crow turned to look for the source of the noise, and at that moment Clarisse ran toward him.
Bam bam bam!
Crow had swung the gun around just in time.
Clarisse staggered backwards, clutching her stomach. Alexis looked at her mother. There was blood, too much blood, seeping through her fingers.
"No!" screamed Alexis. She rushed to her dying mom as the room exploded with bullets. Her father had taken out his gun. Grasping her mom’s arms, she pulled with all her might. At snail’s pace, she dragged her mom to safety.
"Alexis," her mom croaked. Alexis could barely hear her above the sound of the bullets.
"I'm here, I'm here mom. Don't die, please, please don't die!" cried Alexis, panicking.
"Alexis," her mom repeated.
Alexis looked down at her mom's hand. She was holding a necklace with a blue diamond in the shape of a teardrop. Alexis had never seen it before.
“Put it on."
With shaking hands Alexis undid the clasp and put it on.
Bam!
The sound of bullets directly over her head brought Alexis back into reality.
"Go! Run, Alexis!" he father cried desperately.
He was losing terribly.
"Go? Go where?!"
She made eye contact with him. There she saw utter terror and overwhelming sadness.
Suddenly, with a force that almost threw her backwards, her mother's necklace erupted in blue light. Peter Crow and his men were thrown against the wall where they were all knocked out cold.
Stunned, Alexis looked down at her mom.
Clarisse lowered her hand, and the blue light disappeared. She gave her daughter one last smile, and closed her eyes.
