Xina's plan Unfolds

Early the next morning, Giada got up and out of bed, walked downstairs, and began making pancakes for her brothers and sister. As she mixes some chocolate chips into the pancake batter, the doorbell rings.

"Hm? Who would come and visit this early in the morning?" Giada whispers to herself as she looks towards the door. She decides to go check the peephole, and is shocked to see Aaron at the door.

"WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING HERE?!" Giada whisper-shouts as she backs away from the door, hyperventilating. Her heart begins to flutter, and she immediately runs out of the room. As she ducks behind the living room couch, Xina comes downstairs, yawning, walking towards the door to check who it is.

"Who is it?" Xina says in a drowsy tone.

"It's Aaron..." a voice says from behind the door.

As Giada hears his deep, smooth voice, she unknowingly transforms into a cat, and stays hidden behind the couch.

"Oh, well come in..." Xina says as she opens the door.

"Hey, is Garroth here?" Aaron asks as he walks in. "We were going to have a guys-only day with Laurance, Dante, Travis, and Jeffory, and we're all waiting on him."

"Hm? Oh, yeah... I'll go see if he's awake..."

"Alright... I'll be waiting in the living room."

Xina heads back upstairs to go and get Garroth, while Aaron starts heading towards the couch. Afraid he'd see her, Giada ran towards the closet and hides. There, she finds out she had used her new powers to become le cat.

"Whew.... He didn't see me...." Giada mews softly. "Wait... what the?! I'm a... a..."

Aaron opens the closet and sees Giada le cat.

"Oh, hey there... I never knew Garroth owned a cat... especially a turquoise one, at that..." Aaron says quietly as he picks Giada up, petting her.

"Oh, no... this can't be happening... first I become a meif'wa, now this?! Can my life get any worse?"

"Hey, Aaron..." Garroth says from behind the two.

"Oh, you're up... Say, I never knew you owned a cat, Garroth... when did you adopt her?" Aaron responses as he turns around, Giada in hands.

"Oh, uh... I, uh.."

"Don't mess this up, Garroth..."

"I just got her recently.... yeah, I found her outside in the cold, last night, and took her in.... yeah..." Garroth says in an uneasy tone.

"Whew..."

"Well then, nice to see you got over Sp-"

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY HER NAME!!!"

"Woah, calm down, geez.... Anyways, you ready to go?"

"Yeah, just give me a minute."

"M'kay.." Aaron says as puts Giada down and leaves the room.

Garroth watches as he leaves, then kneels down to talk to Giada.

"What just happened back there?"

"Xina might be shipping me with him... and I might think he's cute.... but he was the one who found me in the closet, I promise!"

"Uh huh.... Anyways, I've gotta go... Aaron and the guys are waiting for me outside.... Don't cause any trouble, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah... I will..."

"Good... I'll see you later," Garroth says as he gets up and walks outside.

"-sigh- This is turning out more difficult than it needs to be..."

Giada transforms back into her meif'wa self and gets back to making the pancakes.
