Chapter 1

I woke up screaming again. I was ahving the same dream. The one where my twin brother, Remus Lupin, is bitten. I was there when it happened but he hid me in the bushes. I watched the whole thing terrified and now I have dreaems about it. I walked down the stairs of my mothers house into the kitchen. She was already at work so I was home alone. My mother seperated my brother and I when he became a werewolf but she doesn't know that we still keep in contact. I visit him on full moons before he changes. Tonight he's changing and I'm exited I get to see him but I still feel bad for him. I feel like I could have done something other th bvxan sit in the bushes. I know he's older and he just waanted to keep me safe but still. This is the summer before we go to Hogwarts. We've already gotten our letters and my mom already bought all my schoolsupplies. It is July 31st so I am super excited to go to Hogwarts. I'm also glad because then we don't have to meet on full moons anywmore I can see him all the time! I made my self somebreakfast and ate it quietly. There were no sounds except for the cinking of my spoon. I decided to see if Remus was at the park. He actually lives near here so it's not hard to get there. I ran upstairs and got dressed really quick and put my dirty blonde hair in a ponytail. I ran out of the house and all the way to the park. I saw a few kids there. There was a kid with his mother playing in the sand bow, a few kids older than me at the creek, and one kid sitting one the other side of the creek away from everyone else just staring at the water. I knew that was Remus and I smiled. I ran over and called across the creek.

“Hey Remus.” I called waving. His head snapped up and he smiled upon seeing me. He stood up and jumped across the creek landing right in front of me.

“Willow? What are you doing here?” He asked giving me a hug. I chucklled.

“Wellmoms at work so I snuck out to come see you. I know you're always either here or reading.” I siad. He gave me a disaproving look.

“You shouldn't sneak out you could get in trouble.” He siad. Always the goody-two-shoes. I rolled my eyes as we walked along the creek.

“Oh comeoff it, are you excited for Hogwarts.” I asked him. He smiled but it seemed only halfway real. I raised my eyebrows at him and he sighed.

“It's just what if nobody likes me there. What if they find out what I am then don't want anything to do with me.” He said worridley. I rolled my eyes again.

“Well if anyone does that you'll still have me.” I said. He smiled and hugged me. We were like best friends more than twins. I just hope we get into the same house. We walked for a little while later until things went wrong. We heard a voice coming closer to us but we didn't think anything of it until we heard the voice more clearly.

“I want you to keep that filthy mongrel away from my daughter.” It said. It was my mom and she was talking to our dad. We both gave eachother frighteneed looks then jumped into the bushes. They walked past us and we head what they were talking about.
