"Andeee, babe you've gotta wake up! You've overslept and you have school!"
I open my eyes to see my mum staring directly at me, shaking me furiously in attempt to wake me up. Then I turn to look at my alarm clock and at the sight of it I jump up gasping. I have school in 50 minutes and I've only just woken up! How am I supposed to get ready and be at school by 9:00 ?
I run out of my bedroom and into the shower in a flash. As soon as a get out of the shower , I throw on a grey nike hoodie, black leggings and a pair of black converses on.
Afterwards, I practically run down the stairs, pour myself a glass of apple juice without thinking twice, grabbed my bag and ran out of the door.

When I got to school, I saw Trinity and Hailey sitting right outside the sixth form block yesterday so I decided to join them as I had 10minutes till lessons start.
"Hey Dee!" They both exclaimed in unison. They then looked at each other and burst out laughing.
In slight confusion I replied, "Hey...."
"Should I tell her?" Trinity asked Hailey.
Hailey nodded still laughing.
"We've decided we're gonna call you Dee because why not? We wanted to shorten your name but we can't call you 'And' because well you know..."
Then we all started laughing furiously before Trinity could finish her sentence.
"So we decided to call you 'Dee' since it's the last three letters of your name," Trinity continued.
"Well then," I giggled "I guess I should shorten your names too. Hmm let me see...what about Trin &Hails? Actually no I bet that's too common."
"Actually nobody calls us that. Well except ourselves." Hailey said.
"Great! So Hails And Trin what are you doing here on this fine Friday morning?" I tried to say sophisticately.
Obviously it didn't work and we all burst out laughing for the 100th time now knowing that was probably the most irrelevant question of the 21st century.
After our laughing fit that lasted for about 3 minutes. Trin, Hails &I all sat down and talked.
"So what's your dress going to look like for prom Dee," asked Trin.
I blushed. I was hoping she wouldn't ask me this question today.
Late yesterday, me and Trin were on the phone for hours and she brought up this subject. She told me how they're going to re-do prom as the first time round didn't go so well. The theme wasn't up to everyone's standards and nobody liked the menu. She said the theme this year is a masquerade. Everyone has to wear a mask and most girls will be having dates...well except me. I mean, I would love to go but I'm too new to this school. I barely know anybody here. I know it's a month away but one month won't make much of a difference. Anyway I'm not even interested because if I was to go to prom , I wouldn't have a date. I'm not that type of girl to have a boyfriend for 3days and then we break up or to have a date for prom but then we never speak to each other again. I mean, what's the point?
"Andeeeee? Helloo?"
I completely forgot that someone was talking to me...again.
"Oh right yeah, sorry, um yes wait I mean no I mean what was the question again?""Dee, we can tell your nervous, what's up?" Hailey asked seeming concerned.
"Look, truth is guys, I don't know if I want to go to prom. I'm the new girl you know? I haven't made such a great first impression while I've been here. I think everyone thinks I'm weird...I know you guys are so nice to me but I really don't know if that's how everyone else around here is like," I replied truthfully.
