Chapter 2

Zera P.O.V

 I fell to the floor crying out to him. "No! Don"'t leave me!" Tears were blurring my vision but I saw him turn his head and look directly at me. He said something but I couldn't hear it. 

I woke up from that horrible dream. Or memory more like. That man was..... I slapped my head and stood up. I looked around my shed. Yes a shed. That was my home. I quickly got out and started to run to my spot. A river with trees protecting it. I found it when I was 5, and came here since. But on the way, I saw an animal shifter. Of course. This time it was an alpha. I sighed. I usually wasn't allowed to leave the village. He stood there with crossed arms. "Seriously?" I glared and stepped back. I ran my ass off through the forest, but of course the alpha was there. He flung me over his shoulder and carried me back. "You know you're too weak to go there!" He yelled at me. I looked away. "I'm not delicate so shut the hell up." I said. 

He glared. He was a young guy that girls were all over. He seemed more like a father than a boyfriend though. I groaned and started to walk back to my shed as he watched. Then he left. I ran back to the forest and made it to my secret place. I was so happy! But then smelled the alpha again. This time, I wasn't worried. This place kept the people inside unnoticeable. I watched as he searched frantically. OK I am a slave, but I'm his personal slave. He wanted me for some reason. I then noticed my eyes.... Were glowing red. And my black hair was longer than yesterday. I sat up and looked at the water, sadly. If only they didn't die. If only I had an animal spirit. I felt anger then wush! My eyes were bloody red. And there was this aura around me.... I liked it...... 

Alpha (Cody) P.O.V

 I frantically searched for Zera. There was a reason I liked her. She was my mate. A mate is supposed to be with you forever and love you. She doesn't know it though. This why  I made her my slave. And yes... I love her.... She has those red eyes and long hair...... But she seemed rebellious..

Ren P.O.V

I was interested in that girl... Why? My animal started to come out.... I am a fox. The fire fox to be exact. I knew suddenly... That girl was probably my mate! But what animal was she? O had to find her.

Zera P.O.V

Don't underestimate me. I knew I was both their mates. I knew their true intentions. When did I find this out? Just now. After I sensed the fox guy. Just to let you all know... I am an animal shifter. Just a hidden one. My animal would be the crow. A specie that went extinct a few thousand years ago. I knew that because my mother who dies protecting her precious baby. Her baby made it and her father left. He was also a an animal shifter. A dove. And I, hate his guts. So I will find him and..... Kill him. As I walked, I saw two people, the fox and the alpha, a wolf. I should've looked both ways before crossing the street... I ran and ran. I decided to leave. And suddenly my wings popped out. I smiled and jumped up. But they were going full form.... Oh hell no! I flew to my destination, a huuuuuuuge tree. I smirked as I made my way up. And sat. Waiting for the two bastards to come up so I could beat their asses off
