When I got to the police station I told them everything I knew and they all looked at me like I was crazy. "Mam I think you shouldn't answer from this number again..:" One man said. "W-Why not? My friend is in danger and you guys should send a search party or something. She's still alive!" I freaked out, tears coming down my light pink cheeks.

"Listen, your friend has been missing from Hilton for nearly 3 years now; maybe she just wanted some-" "What? Some space from her best friend? I don't think so." "Well can you remember anything off about her before she left?" Hmm, I thought. "She was going to see someone in this town called Happy Tree Town..?" I said unsure if I was correct. The police men stood in shock like I'd said something wrong. "W-What is it, Officer?" I got scared.

They all left the room and came back after 5 minutes. "I think we have a serious problem Ms. Flaky.. You see in Happy Tree Town, it's a place where you kinda just, you know.. stay." "What do you mean Officer? Are you stating that I shouldn't accept the job there?" "Oh no, you can accept it.. It's not about the job, Ms. Flaky. Our concern is you. I advice you to stay here with us tonight." "I'm sorry but I can't.. maybe some other time." I walked out of the questioning room with no word else.

If the police aren't gonna tell me I guess I have no other reason but to.. I filled out the application and mailed it as soon as I got home. I sighed as I looked up the unknown number on my computer. Hmm so this number is from Happy Tree Town, I took a sip of my hot chocolate.

~A week later~

Yes! I got accepted for the job! I jumped up and down in excitement. I ran upstairs to hurry up and packed my suitcase. The sooner I pack the sooner I can get on the road to find Petunia, I thought. I looked over at the picture of me and Petunia and walked out the door.
