I Can And I Will

chapter one

Selena
Her hair was up in a perfect bun. A few strands were out and hung around her face.

Her eyes lashes shimmered with the light beating down on her. She was on stage looking at the crowd when one person stood.

"That will never be you." They spat rudely then laughed

She ran out as tears brimmed her eyes, threatening to fall. She dropped to her knees as she got backstage. "Their right. This is me. A crying mess." She said crying.

I woke up quickly scrambling around. "Stupid dream." I muttered

I got ready for the day then went downstairs to be greeted by lilac and Juli smiling like maniacs.

"What's up...?" I said looking around, clearly they were planning something and I wanted to know what.

"Well. We thought about this a lot and we want to...well you see...have you sing in front of the camera for the first time, then post it and BOOM your famous!" Juli said happily.

"Yeah... No." I said and they looked at me, begging.

"Pleeeeease." Li said with puppy dog eyes.

"No Li, and your scaring me." I said looking away. They kept on staring at me. I sighed then said, "maybe later."

"I'll be back." I skipped out of the door in a hurry and went to my car.

I was on my way home from a few places then realized, I have to do the stupid singing thing. Great.

As I walked in a cringed when my sister's screamed. "Yes! Your back!"

"Yep I'm back." I ran up the stairs before they could say anything else. If your wondering, Lilac is my real sister and Juli is adopted but we all live together.

I shut my door and looked at the stack of papers on my desk. They were all of the songs I wrote.

Before I knew it I was grabbing the dreaded camera and setting it up. Why am I doing this again?

"Hi I'm Selena and I'll be singing song. That I wrote myself in my room- no duh." I rolled my eyes then stopped the video and started a new one.

"Hey I didn't see you there." I smiled "oh my gosh of course I did." I just turned the camera of after that.

Then something clicked.

I ran over to my vanity and started putting makeup all over my face. I had a blue stripe and purple stripe going down the right side of my face. Then I put on some purple lipstick.

I ran downstairs in a quiet way and into the garage. My cousin who lived here used to be in this rock band thing and she left a few wigs behind. I grabbed the most prettiest blue one I could then ran back upstairs.

I put it on then smiled at my work in the mirror.

I set the camera back up and turned it on.

"Hi." I said "I'm...Sapphire." I said remember my dad used to call me that yeah pretty obvious it's my last name but he used to think of me as his gem or jewel.

Lilac was his flower before he passed, Juli was the Jem. I started singing my first song I wrote called alone together. (A/n I'll put the lyrics in another chapter along with other song lyrics)

After it ended I heard lilac at my door. "Your. Awesome." She smiled

"Oh hi." I said and she grabbed the camera.

"Bye!" She ran down the stairs with the camera and I realized I didn't delete the video!

"Lilac!" I yelled running down the stairs after her and she waved bye as she locked her door.

I heard the song which indicates she posted the stupid video!

She unlocked the door and smiled at me. "Sorry I hid my laptop."

I was mentally strangling her right now.

"Sorry but your about to become internet famous." She smirked then walked away.

"Li!" I yelled at her then stomped off.

"Great! Just great!" I ran down the stairs and looked at the both of them.

"Your dead." I said then heard a bark.

"The dog!" We all yelled at the same time. We had a huge Komondor we were afraid of but we loved him.

He came running in with his tongue flapping everywhere. He's full-grown so he's huge. "Oscar!" I said as he pushed me onto the couch and laid in my lap.

"Yep can't breath." I barely got out. Then he ran over to lilac and jumped onto her nearly knocking her too the ground.

He jumped down and knocked Juli down. "Hey, Oscar!" She shouted then he ran to his bed and went to sleep.

"Oh I'm still mad." I said to them.

"You'll thank me later." Lilac said and smiled at Juli then at me.

Okay, sure I will.
