"Do you ever wonder what it would be like if I never meet you in that Walmart that day" I asked him
"I could tell you one thing, Ellie wouldn't have a personal vendetta against me" he said. I chuckled
"she really doesn't, and I'm serious" I said persistent to hear answer.
"alright, alright" He sighed "well I would pass you in the hallways, I'd most likely not pay mind to you at all, we'd probably still not realize that we even go to the same school. I would probably be dating Vanessa or Zack possibilities are endless. I'd end up hanging out with a different crew most likely to include 3 athletes, 2 geeks, and 1 social butterfly. We'll hang out in each others houses and go driving around on adventures to secret caves and haunted houses discoving all the meanings of life" he explained ending with a gasp of air from blurting all of that out in one breath.
He then proceeded to chuckle. He looked an at me and by the expression on his face I guess he saw how hurt I looked.
"the thing I need you to realize is that, this is all just talk and make believe. The fact of the matter is that we did meet. The rest is all should of, could of, would of, crap. I'm with you right now and that's not going to change." he reassured.
That put a smile right back on my face; only to be taken away as the thought of never meeting, if not for my cravings for ice cream, crept into my head. He kept looking at me and smiling.
"ugh stop, your pulling this smiling cheesy crap thing again" I said annoyed.
He chuckled "sorry it's just hard to not smile when I see something I really like or want" at that I was taken a back and I froze.
I guess he took that as chance to make a move, and he leaned in to kiss me. Right before we kissed though, thunder clapped and it started to pour down on us. We quickly started sprinting to the closest shelter we could find, A big tree in the center of the park.
"Of course there's rain it always always ruins a really good..." I was interrupted with a kiss.
We were drenched and a mess but the moment couldn't have been more perfect.
The Rain washed this moment clean.
