They say walking in the rain without a umbrella can be very therapeutic sometimes.

He texted me he was doing just that. He worries me he's gonna get himself sick.

Just the thought of him made me smile. Finally it's happening everything is good for the first time in awhile.

August and Zack had rekindled there messed up friendship, whether Zack's dad could be okay with it or not.

Ellie and Cody had finally bonded with August and his friends Gabriel, Trudy, and Zack even if its because of a mutual hatred for someone else.

No one really knows where Vanessa went or when she left but where ever she, its safer there for her.

I never said it was perfect but it was good, peaceful.

August text he said "I'm about to reach the train station" I put my shoes on and a coat to surprise him at the station. I Grabbed my umbrella and bolted out the door.

All I could do is smile and try and run as carefully as possible.

The station was coming up and I could see him in the distance walking towards the station with his hoodie off completely drenched but he was looking up smiling at least I think. I started running again looking down at the ground to make sure I don't trip or slip.

"BEEP BEEP" the car came to a halt right before it hit me.

"Sorry I wasn't looking" I screamed out as I got out of his way.

The car kept beeping till I was on the sidewalk and even a little after then sped away.

"That was rude I said sorry" my thoughts were interrupted by a vibration.

I pulled out my phone "August 🍃 : I see you. ❤"

I turned around and there he was standing at the end of the block on the other side of the tracks smiling in the rain. So much for a surprise I thought to myself. He only had to finish that block then cross the road and tracks. Where I would meet him and hug him and never let go.

I know this is real and it's going to work because we know that this is something worth fighting for. The fact that it was raining only seemed to make him happier.

That's the thing about August he focuses on the good side even in the darkest of situations. Don't get me wrong he could be a jerk and a idiot sometimes, and he's done a lot of things he's not proud of because he not perfect but he's learns something I wish I could say we all do.

I Screamed at him "your so cheesy" I said with a smile holding up my phone. He then went to look at his phone I guess he was trying to text me again.

All of a sudden there was a lightning strike somewhere and the the sky went white and Somehow it started raining harder, violent even.

1..2 BOOM thunder clapped. Scared I jumped. My phone vibrated but I ignored the text, I called August phone as I started finishing my block.

He picked up on the last ring "why are you just standing there, start walking and hurry up I can't wait to be with you already, Plus this storm is really freaking me out." I said.

"sorry I was writing you a text but alright, I'm coming" he said as, for what I could see due to the attacking rain, he started to walk as slowly as possible towards me.

"okay now your teasing me" I said annoyed as I finally reached my side of the tracks. The signals for the tracks started to go off.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" he said then started bolting to the end of the block. "slow down I'm already here Ill just walk to you" I said as I decided walk on the tracks as the handles went down.

"be careful and hurry the train is a coming" he said.

"yeah I got thi..." I slipped and fell on the tracks, I landed on my back. I heard him scream and him running across the street.

"BEEP BEEP"
