Kane Cronicles go to high school

School?!

School, I can't believe I  thought we should go to school, that was one of my worst ideas ever. And how will I explain the Walt/Anubis situation to everyone? During the Fall and Winter he looks like Anubis and in the Spring and Summer he looks like Walt,(August-January is Anubis, Febuary-July is Walt) it will seem like an on and off relationship with both of them. Uggghhh! I'm going to die this year! Oh well, at least only me, Carter, Zia and Anubis, (it's August) will be in the same school as me, (Julian, Jaz and Cleo are all staying home with the young ones). And school starts tomorrow! Good luck to me!

Everyone is gong crazy this morning trying to get ready for school, Carter is making sure he has everything, Zia is trying to look 'normal', Anubis is trying to think of a name, (Anubis just doesn't sound right) and I'm just causally eating breakfast already ready. After Carter checked his bag for the last time and I assured Zia that eyeliner and cargo pants with a green shirt is fine and Anubis chose the name, Jack Al Black we were ready to leave. We rode to school in Bes's limo, (he will be taking us to school every day). And everyone watched us like they were expecting models not Sadie Kane, and my mates Liz and Emma ran over and said, "Sadie you're back! And you brought your boyfriend with you! Where is Walt? Is he ok?" I sighed, "Yes, Walt is ok he's right here." I said gesturing to Anubis, "What? That's not Walt, that's Jack." Emma said after some mouth persuasion from me, and I whispered, "Walt is hosting Anubis and since I like them both they look one, half the year and the other the other half of the year." I smiled. "Oh, but what's with the limo?" asked Liz, "Remember Bes? That was him." They were shocked to put it lightly. "What?!" Emma choked. "Yeah, now let's get to class." I said, but on the way in I was stopped by no other than the plastic bags themselves. "Walt still sick?" Drew asked, sickly sweet, "No, he's recovered from lung cancer and is now visiting his mother since his parents divorsed, this is Jack. His stepbrother." Drew gasped and said, " You're  that boy who danced with Sadie!" Anubis' eyes narrowed, "Yes I am, so back off." Anubis said and then pushed them out of the way. We walked past them and to the office to get our schedules. After getting our schedules we started on our way to home room.
