I stood up, startled, and slowly backed away while knocking toys and papers away. Then I see four tendrils appear from his back and take hold of my limbs. With one toss I went through the wall and landed on the living room floor. My eyesight was blurry for a moment and I gasped for air until my lungs began working again. I slowly push myself against a wall and tried standing up, but felt myself get grabbed and lifted into the air.
A tendril wrapped around my legs, body, and arms like an anaconda. "Well, well. Aren't you the boy who came looking for Eric or something earlier today?" I realized that my hood had fallen down and my scarf fell off. "Well someone's gotta teach ya about rules and laws," he released my left arm from the tendril grasp as he said this. "And also about the consequences of breaking them."
One of his other tendrils wrapped around my free arm and began to pull. The pain was excruciating. When I started to yell, another tendril covered my mouth. I know he could have easily torn my arm right off, but he went slow just to have me feel pain. I bit into my lip until I drew blood.
I then felt something pop in a very painful way. In response, I gasped and bit down on the tendril in front of my mouth. I felt a strange liquid pour out. Did I make him bleed? I hope I did, cause the 'blood' that poured out came out quite a bit.
Some I accidentally swallowed and others just poured onto the floor. "You can bite all you want, it won't make a difference. I don't feel pain in my blacklimbs." And with that, he pulled once more and I felt my arm leave my body. I screamed into the tendril covering my mouth. The pain was so intense I couldn't see straight or think.
The only thing I could remember was Eric's father throwing my arm into the fireplace where the fire ate it hungrily. Then I hear a large bang and see something fly across the living room and splinter into several wooden shards. After the door collided with the wall, a strange shape tackled Eric's father, causing his tendrils to throw me across the room and releasing me from his grip. Once my vision had cleared enough, I saw Eric, equipped in an orange jumpsuit and tendrils swinging and slashing at his father while his father dodges the attacks easily. Eventually, Eric's father tackled Eric to the ground and pinned him there. "My, my, you are strong. I figured you had developed the blacklimbs, I just didn't know when and how long."
"So you do know about them. Especially since you have them as well. I should have expected that from a monster like you."
"And what does that make you, my son?"
"The son of a piece of shit."
"What disgusting language. You've definitely grown some balls after going to prison."
"Or I just had enough of you."
I noticed movement to my left. "Ri-ri?" said Eric's sister in a quiet and tired voice. When Eric looked from under his father's weight, his tendrils vanished and his eyes went back to normal. "Ashley, honey, go back to bed."
"What's going on? What's on daddy's back?" Eric's father smiled evilly. "Go back to bed, sweetheart, daddy will be with you soon." Eric's eyes turned bright white and his face turned into the very embodiment of anger and pissed off you could ever see. His tendrils appeared once more and slammed into his father's side, throwing him off of him and into the very wall I was against not too long ago.
Eric and his father fought and fought, furniture flying and smashing and crashing and breaking. I was in a trance from this battle where the walls splintered when one would smash into them from the other's punch or slam from a tendril. When I finally snapped out of it I looked over at Eric's little sister, who was curled up on the floor, crying. I reached out with my left hand, forgetting and remembering that it was gone but was shocked to see something in it's place. Some long, dark thing shaped into an arm and hand at the end.
I stared wide-eyed at the appendage that replaced my old one. It was extremely smooth and didn't seem to be either solid or liquid. I tested it to see if I could move it at will and I could. Just like an arm. I don't know what it is or how it got there, but I had to get Ashley out from the possible crossfire. "Ashley!" I called out to her.
She looked at me with tear-filled eyes. "Come here, okay? We can't have you around this." Right when I said that, Eric's form flew into a part of the wall across from me, causing it to break and splinter and make Eric yell from pain.
