Laica Montez considers herself as an unwanted child. Her mom has no patience for her and left her to her grandmother in the Philippnes and didn't even bother to visit or call her since she was 16 years old. Mabait naman sa kanya ang kanyang lola pero may pakiramdam sya na meron itong inililihim sa kanya.

Since she is a new girl and afraid to be rejected and misunderstood dahil sa naranasan sa sariling ina, Laica became so reserved and too independent at her young age until she met a young man named Dandreb during her 1st year in college.

Laica fell in love with Dandreb. She was so happy and contented dahil hindi lang sya nakakita ng magmamahal sa kanya, nakatagpo din sya ng mga kaibigan sa katauhan ng binata at ng mga kaibigan nito.

For her their relationship is a gift until one day, Dandred ended their relationship and asked her to get out of his life. Laica was so confused and hurt and decided to leave so she can move on..
