Girl Meets Double Date (fan-fiction)

chapter 6

~Maya~

Riley and I sat at the bay window for a few minutes and talking just sitting there quietly. "So w-" I started to say then I heard a knock on the door and jumped up. Riley got up after me, then she went to open the door then I stopped her and hugged her, "I'll miss you Peaches" so said hugging me back. "I miss you too Honey" I replied "Have fun on your date" Riley said "You too" I said back. Then we stopped hugging and Riley opened her bedroom door then walked out, I followed behind her with butterflies in my somatic, I signed. What am I so scared of? Lucas and I already went on a date before, but it didn't really go well so I'm scared it won't last. At least there will be food if it gets awkward. I looked up for staring at my shoes, to see Lucas standing through the doorway while talking to Riley, he looked nervous. I walked over to them. Lucas mouth dropped. "Let's get this over with" I joked which made Riley and Lucas laugh. "You look great" Lucas added after laughing, I smiled. He then handed me a very red rose I grabbed it thinking of the first rose Lucas gave me. "Shall we go now?" I asked then we headed put the door linking arms, I looked back at Riley hoping she would be okay. We walked outside then got in the car Lucas rented I assume. Then it drove off.

~Riley~

Right when the door closed I ran into my room and opened the closet door. Farkle looked fine. "We can go now" I said out of breath. Farkle then left the closet I closed the door behind him. Then we climbed out of the bay window. We climbed down the fire escape and reached the back of the building then we walked to the front, Farkle then got into one of his dads car I followed behind then we drove off. I suddenly spotted Maya and Lucas car then shouted "FOLLOW THAT CAR!!!!" and the driver did so.

"Where are you going" I asked Lucas, "Well I was going to take you to this nice restaurant but they have no tables left and its an hour or more wait" Lucas replied. I sighed quietly the looking out the window to see a burger joint. I looked at Lucas then tugged his arm "Lets go there" I pointed to it, "Okay" Lucas said then telling to driver where to go, we arrived at the Burger joint the driver parked the car I then took off my seat belt and then saw a car with what it looked like was Riley in it, I probably just missed her. Then my door opened and Lucas stood there with his hand out to help me out of the car, I grabbed his and got out of the car I didn't let go of his hand then we walked into the joint and I put my head on his shoulder.
