The softness of your lips against mine made me yearn for the cold touch of death. The time when you beat me but yet you tell me you love me. I hit your chest and begged please, please put me out of my misery.
You couldn't have listened.
Instead it was easier to catch the moon and hand me your heart and soul before doing it all again. The touch of cold hit me and you. Hit us.
How was I so selfish? Thinking that one could love the holder of weapons. A weapon greater than yours and greater than those. No one cared if I was pained as long as you got the girl.
We payed our dues and said our goodbyes when I realized how my heart ached. I saw the pain in your eyes and I ran.
I thought you fooled me into loving you.
Who would've known that it was me who couldn't bear to be gone. I'm locked in a cage yet I hold my own key.
Don't help me...
Don't shelter me...
And how dare you even look at me with your golden eyes and pointed teeth.
You are the monster under my bed and I willingly let you take me.
How dare I.
