Phil's P.O.V:

I had taken a shower after getting home from my motorcycle ride. I didn't want to smell like the outdoors when I went to Dan's house. I found it amusing that I was so suddenly conscious of myself now that I'd met my mate. I so wanted hid approval, as did my wolf.

I actually made an attempt to comb my hair out of my face, but it just fell right back in front of my right eye.

I had chosen a deep red, polo style shirt. It contrasted nicely with the markings on my neck, which at the moment I thought looked pretty cool. I grabbed my phone and wallet and put them in my back pockets and headed downstairs.

Sara and Brian were waiting in the living room, Sara had the brownie pan in her hands and Brian was carrying some games, one of which I recognized as Dominoes. This I was familiar with because my family liked to play.

I went over to Sara and took the brownie pan from her and simply said, "I will take these for you."

Sara smiled at me in appreciation. "Ready?" Brian asked. Both Sara and I nodded.

Sara knocked on Zoe and Daniel's door, and I felt my neck markings sting just a little as I turned and saw a car driving slowly by. I let my wolf out just enough to see who was driving abnormally slow past my mate's house. I was on edge. I now knew there were other Grey's in the area and my father told me that Dan was in danger.

I had also received an anonymous phone call from a wolf claiming to be Alpha of the Coldspring pack stating that Dan had already been claimed by another wolf and I was to leave immediately.

Dan was the one who answered the door and I couldn't help the smile that came across my face. He was after all my fiery miracle. I could have had to wait centuries before I found him and all it had taken was a mere 17 years. How I was blessed. "Come in everybody," Dan said politely.

Obediently, we all filed into the entry way. He pointed them in the direction of the kitchen where I could smell the aroma of the already delivered pizza.

"Hi you guys," Zoe greeted. "I'm so glad you guys could come over!" Zoe and Sara hugged. Tyler and Troye were already filling their plates when Zoe looked at them, "What, ya'll couldn't wait on the guests?"

"Hey, we were doing you guys a favor," Tyler said. "Oh really," Zoe said, "and just exactly what favor is that."

"Ya know, testing out the product, making sure it's safe. Would hate to unknowingly poison our Romanian guest, although it would make for a great headline," Ty answered.

"Ty, do you always have to say what you are thinking? Have you ever thought to yourself, 'hey self, maybe I should keep my trap shut, yeah, good idea self'? Dan glared at his best friend.

"You're just cranky because you've been thinking about Pj," Ty stated snotty-like.

I couldn't help the low rumble in my chest that escaped at the name of Dan's all too recent old flame.

Zoe's head snapped around to look at me. I cocked my head to the side as my wolf perked up at her perceptive gaze. "Interesting," I thought, "she knows something."

Dan must have caught that last thought because I heard him ask, "She knows something about what?"

I looked away from Zoe and turned to look at my Luna's confused face. I was going to have to tell him if not tonight, then soon and I was going to have to talk to Zoe. Something told me that she was not unaware of who and what I was.

"Phil, what are you thinking about?" Dan asked again.

"We will need to talk later Danny and your mum needs to be present as well," I told him.
