A Next Generation Time-Travel Story! [ON HOLD]

Flashbacks Part 1

James Sirius

I hopped out of bed ready to eat. I bounded down the stairs of Grimmauld Place and was met with a hug from Teddy when I entered the kitchen.
"Hiya James!" Fred II cheered.
"Sup Freddie!" I cheered back as I sat at the long table awaiting breakfast. Breakfast was always one of the best meals of the day when you were with Grandma Weasley. She made the best pancakes and her bacon was super sweet. Not that my mum didn't make great food and all, but Grandma Weasley's was always the best!

After breakfast we decided to all play a game of Quidditch. We decided to play adults in 2021 versus kids. For our team, I was Seeker, Rose was Keeper, Lorcan and Lysander were Beaters, and Scorpius, Lily, and Roxanne were Chasers. For the adult team, Dad/Harry was Seeker, Ron was Keeper, Fred and George were Beaters, and Mum/Ginny, Angelina, and Teddy were Chasers. After a two hour long game I finally caught the snitch so we won 230 - 100. We all trudged back inside for lunch.

After lunch we decided to tell all the people from 1996 some things about what happened in the future.
"So how exactly did Harry and Ginny end up together?" George asked us.
"Well, Dad or Harry kissed Mum...er...Ginny-" I was cut off by Mum.
"Just call us Mum and Dad we understand," she said kindly. Mum was always kind but always got very angry if you set her off.
"Well, as I was saying, Dad kissed Mum after they won the Quidditch Cup in his sixth year. They got together after that until he broke up with her for her safety at the end of the year." I breathed and looked around at the Weasley's. All of my Uncles looked about ready to pounce on Harry after what I had explained.
"And then they got back together after the war and three years later Dad proposed. Teddy was four when they got married." Al finished.
"How did he propose?" Mum questioned excitedly.

Lily's POV

*flashback*

I was 9 years old and had just finished a Muggle book and the guy had proposed to the girl at the end. I ran downstairs and jumped on my Dad's lap.
"Daddy, how did you propose to Mummy?" He laughed.
"Well, it was August 9, and I had just visited my vault at Gringotts and had found something I had never seen before.  It was a small black box with an engagement ring inside. It also had a note inside:
Dear Harry,
If you're reading this that means we have probably died. This is my engagement ring. When we went into hiding I placed it in our vault just in case Voldemort found us. This ring is for you to give to whomever you love. Use it well. I hope you will always remember that we love you and we always will!

The ring was beautiful! It was simple but elegant. It had a emerald gem in the middle and on the inside the words 'until the very end' were carved. It was perfect! I decided that I would propose to her on her birthday which was in two days. The next day we were hanging out at the Burrow and I took my chance to ask her dad's permission to marry her. He said yes after consoling with Grandma Weasley. On her birthday I took her on a walk and proposed to her on that walk. She said yes, of course!" He finished. I giggled.
"What was your wedding like?"
"It was great! The theme was red and gold for Gryffindor. On top of the cake were two figurines of us playing Quidditch. We even had moving pictures of Remus, Tonks, Professor Snape, Professor Dumbledore, Mad Eye Moody, and Fred in seats. Your Mum looked absolutely stunning when she walked down the aisle. She had a gorgeous dress on. It was a long, white, strapless wedding dress with lace on top with a diamond belt. Ron was my best man and Hermione was your Mum's maid-of-honor. It was one of my favorite days." He finished.

*end of flashback*

"That sounds so amazing!" Mum breathed.
"You both looked very happy and your dress was definitely beautiful in the pictures we have around the house." Teddy commented.
"Now you must tell us how Hermione and Ron ever got together!" Mum exclaimed.

Hope you enjoyed! The picture above is her dress and ring, but let's just imagine the ring is emerald, I couldn't find an emerald one with the words engraved in it.
