My name is (F/N). I work at Skymedia, I am a part time youtuber and an editor. But I slowly fall in love with a jerk I've known forever. His name is Max. Thinking back on it now, I realized how much I lied to myself saying I didn't like him...

I stood looking in my mirror. I pulled my hair, running a brush through the wet tangles. I pulled out my blow dryer, once that was done my (H/C) hair, laid limply on my head. I shrugged, it was only Max, and he has seen worse. I put on makeup, the usually things. I walked into my room and shuffled through dresses in my closet.
"What to wear?" I asked myself aloud when my eye caught sight of a dress I haven't worn in ages.

After I found the perfect outfit and was dressed I waited in the living room. I browsed through Netflix seeing if there was anything good. Then my door bell rang. I jumped up turning off the TV. I grabbed my purse from the dinning room table, and I reaches for the door handle I took a deep breath. Opening it I was greeted by Max... with flowers?
"H-hey, Max." I stuttered. He looked amazing. He wore a red button up with black trousers.
"Here, I got these on the way over here." Max blushed handing me the flowers, roses.
"Thank you, let me put these in some water before we go. Would you like to come in?" I asked stepping aside. Max hesitantly walked in. Though he stayed by the door.
"I'm not going to kill you!" I laughed walking into the kitchen pulling out a vase.
"You never know. Rather be safe than sorry." Max chuckled a bit.
I wiped my hands on a towel and walked over to Max.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked.
"Sure! Where are we going though?" I tilted my head. He hadn't said where we were going yet.
"It's a surprise." Max smiled. I took his hand and we went to the car.
I hopped into the passenger side, and we drove. On the way to... where ever we were heading, I couldn't stop shaking. I don't know if it was nerves, excitement or something else. But I felt reassured when Max leaned over to hold my hand.
After a while we came to a park I hadn't seen before. There was a pond, and lots of willow trees. It looked really pretty. Max helped me out of the car and we walked on a gravel path to a picnic. There were lights strewn from tall poles that were covered in vines. The sky was clear and you could see all the stars. The moon was full to, causing the pond to shimmer. It looked like something out of a movie.
"M-Max... this is beautiful. H-how did you get this all done?" I asked spinning in a circle to get a better look of it all together.
"Hehe... the guys actually helped me get this done." Max smiled shyly.
"Then I guess I just have more people to thank." I smiled at him. I turned and wrapped my arms around him. And slowly his arms wrapped around me.
"Max... thank you. It means a lot to me that you did this." I whispered. I felt something, something that I have never experienced before. But whatever it was, I loved it.
We soon pulled out of our embrace to eat. He had all of my favorite foods, and sweets. And plenty of (F/D) too. As we sat on the blanket laughing, talking, and nearly choking on our food sometimes, my phone buzzed. I looked at Max he nodded his head for me to check it. I unlocked my phone, an unknown number texted me. When I looked to see what they sent, panic filled by body.
It was a picture of Max and I... just a few moments ago. Soon a text appeared after the image.
