A million stars
Light years away
But if I could be with anyone
I'd be with you today
Life isn't the best
I know that is the truth
But you didn't have to take your life
On that lonely roof
There was a big funeral
There were lots of tears
If only you could see it
If only you could be here
That one day
I told you to go away
You took your own life to try and escape
But my days have gotten longer
Without your smile and laugh
And when I start to cry
My friends can't even gasp
So that's what life is now
Time doesn't heal, and I should know
Three years pass
And all I can show
Is our one picture together
On my camera roll
So I guess I can let go
Because now I see
All you were doing
Is telling me
Time can heal
As long as you forget
Take the pills
It will help
And it hasn't helped yet.
