Zero's first friend at her hip new school in Idaho was mell, they both had a lot in common. They both had names that didn't make sense. Zero's parents had the nerve to name their daughter after a number that isn't odd or even...it just is a number. Mel's parents named her after a of fruit...and vegetable (who names their daughter 'watermelon'? The same people who name their kid zero!)
