The Vessel

Prologue

I dipped my naked leg into the bubbling hot tub. Then the rest of my body followed. I moaned at how warm it felt. Then I closed my eyes and leaned back into the hot water. I felt nothing like usual. I saw the darkness then nothing. And it began.

Two figures in a grave yard talking. I can see there lips moving but, hear nothing. One is a girl she's a bit shorter than the boy. Her eyes are brown filled with sadness, shock, relief and bit of fear. Though the fear isn't because of the boy. Her brown hair is long and straightened. Her features soft and light.The boy is taller and has leafy green eyes and has curly dark blonde/brown hair. The girl rolls up her blue jeans to see blood coming out of the cut at her ankle because of her fall. Veins appear on the boy's face but, the girl doesn't see it.

Then it's blank and only thing I can see is the dark vibrant colour red .
"Shes your sister. She has the doppleganger blood and so do you. To break Klaus curse she does not need to die. To become a hybird he only needs to drink her blood. Same for the hybirds. You can save her. A wolf bites cure is Klaus blood. Take away the gilbert ring from Alaric or else you know what might happen."

I feel like I am floating away. I break the surface of the water. Causing the water to jump out of the bath and on to the floor. The water is icy cold and clear. No more providing any comfort.

I take huge gulps of the air greedily like a thirsty man. I slowly draw my knees in to my chest and wrap my arms around them.

I look up to find myself starring at the girl from the graveyard. This time her eyes are teary and she looks bit shorter,younger. Her lips are a light shade of blue. Her skin is pale and her hair is in a bun. Then I realise I am looking in the mirror. Cause the girl from the graveyard didn't have scars.
