Chapter 3 The Next Day

I woke up to the sound of my beeping alarm clock. But the strange thing is that I wasn't grouchy. It was like this weird unexplainable switch just filled on in my head. I got dressed and took the kids out to school. I texted Ava good morning but no response. I walked my brothers to school, but everything looked more brighter and prettier. I got to school and did the same thing like I do every morning til the bell rang. The teachers where shocked to see I was actually doing work instead of falling asleep. At around 1:30 I was in my welding class.every guy from the chat was in that class with me and they didn't know what happened.I decided to keep it a secret til I thought it was time to tell them.my close friend Fransisco came up to me and asked if I was okay. I replied"yeah bro why do you ask?" He then replied,"well your usually just listen and don't talk much but now your taking a lot more." I then lied,"well yeah I guess u can say I had a good amount of sleep ". He didn't notice it so I was relieved. I then felt a vidrate on my leg and saw it was Ava. It said hey babe sorry I was mostly asleep." I replied how "it was okay" and "hope you slept good".I spent the rest of the day on my phone talking to her. We mostly talked about oh I can't wait to see you and we talked about eachother . I found out she graduated last year and she was 18. Then I really started to go crazy think wow am I really dating this girl. Days went by like this ,and everytime I talked to her the happier I was and more focused on school I was. It was Friday and me and every one was talking about what was going to happen tomorrow we all hoped it went well. My friend David says I call dibs on deja, then banda said I call dibs of Valerie. She was another girl from the chat. Then my friend Raul , he was the rich, funny,and weird mexican in our group even though he was albino. He said something that just triggered something in me to break my secret about me and Ava. "I call dibs on Av-" I replied "no you don't." He then looked at me and said,"says who ?" I broke into a cold sweat to realize what I just said. "Me her boyfriend!" Everyone looked at me and laughed. "I'm foreal guys me and her are dating" try didn't believe me til I made them believe. Raul said "damn I guess your right". Everyone else was like" oh shit Allen you spitten game" I laughed at that then everyone went back to the normal conversation they where in before. I got a message from Ava asking about what's going to happen tomorrow. I texted back that everything is going to happen like we said. She said "okay good" I replied "uff I can't wait to see you boo can't believe this is going to be our first date!". She got happy and we kept at it back and forth. Till we got home and talked on the phone. I swear nothing in the world sounds so sweet and gentle then the sound of her voice. We talked on and on til it was 3 in the morning then she told me to go to bed. I debated her on that then ended up losing. We said our good byes even though we didn't want to. When she hanged up I played some music to help me go to sleep. The song was named "1,2,3,4" by the plain white T's.
