Okay so here's the deal. I can sing pretty good (at least in my opinion), however my voice is very musical theatre-y and belty. I think people with soft, melodic voices that are slightly raspy are gorgeous singers and I desperately try to be like that. I can make my voice sound like that if I want to, but it's not my natural voice. So if you are blessed with a soft voice, be grateful.
