A/N/: So upon request I'm making a part two. YOU GUYS ACTUALLY LIKE IT?! IM SHOCKED! So for entertainment and since it is based on the song Somebody Else by the 1975, I decided to add my favorite cover of it by Dodie Clark. I recommend you take a listen.

On with the imagine!

Your POV

I drove home in silence while the radio spoke of my pain. Sad songs were playing on loop, I didn't even know what station I was listening to.

My phone kept vibrating in the back seat. It was probably Breezy calling about as to why I left so soon. How I could I even go back there? He was there.

Whatever. He's all forgotten now. I'm sure Brendon and Sarah will grow old together and maybe live to be the happiest couple the world will ever see! And I'll be an old hag who holds a grudge.

I'm not one for holding grudges, but your best friend can't just shut you out like that for no reason. I should've told him sooner.

I got home and walked in to my apartment. I looked at my phone that read

😜Brendon🔫: 4 Missed Calls

I sighed and heard my answering machine beep. It read 13 New Messages.

I decided to listen to them.

The first one said, "Y/N, please pick up the phone, we need to talk."

The second one said, "Y/N, baby? Please pick up the phone."

Baby? Where the fuck did that come from?

He's just trying to make you pick up the phone.

The third one was quiet, you could hear faded sobs in the background.

The fourth one was unexpected, "Y/N, I like you too. No wait, I love you too."

I sighed and wiped my eyes. Hidden tears came out of the blue.

The rest were silent mostly just faded sobs I couldn't hear. I decided I wouldn't call him back, he was lying for show.

I changed into sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt and thought I should watch [insert favorite tv show here].

I fell asleep on the couch, but was woken up my a knock on my door. Maybe it was the neighbor's cat that got astray and was asking if I'd seen it. I shut my eyes and tried to fall back asleep.

"Y/N...I-It's me...." I heard a sad voice say behind the door.

I got up and opened it, before I could say anything Brendon pulled me into a hug. I hugged back.

"Y/N, I'm so so sorry." He cried into my shoulder.

"For what, baby?" I asked him. Now I'm calling him baby?

"For being stupid! I got n-nervous when you told me you liked me and I said I didn't like you back!" He sobbed.

I rubbed his back gently.

"Take a seat on the couch, I'll get you some water." I said. I went into the small kitchen and got him some water. I took a seat next to him and handed the glass to him. He took a sip placed it on the coffee table.

"Y/N, I'm sorry..." He looked a me with his sad brown eyes.

"I forgive you, but what about her?" I pointed to his empty ring finger.

"I-I left her." He said looking down.

"For me?" I questioned. He couldn't have.

He nodded his head.

"We discussed it. She said all she wanted me to be was to be happy." He smiled to himself.

"She seems like a great girl." I smiled back. "So now what?"

"Now this." He whispered and crashed his lips into mine.
