Sting x Reader Light to Happiness (Dress for the ball/party⬆️)

At the ball/party after the GMG...
Readers Pov:
"Come on (y/n) show us the dress!" Lucy and Mira yell, I come out and show them the dress,"!!" They're eyes were wide "oh my Mavis,That dress looks good on you,it matches your (h/c) hair!!"They both squeal,I let out a small laugh.We walk into the ball room , I see my exceed Shade,he walk up to me " you look amazing" he says with a smile 'not enough that I will get noticed by anyone ' I say to myself,I'm a Shadow God slayer ,I usually don't get noticed that much so I'm always alone with shade.I walk outside and look at the sunset "(y/n) why aren't you going to see Lucy or Natsu or or Mira?" Shade ask me,I look at him and frown,he knows how I feel, I feel like a shadow without light,in the dark,no one can see me. We continue walking ,I decide to sit down on a cliff ,I see shade looking at me "Shade?"I asked him, "Yes (y/n)"he said still looking at me. I look in front of me and look at the beautiful view "Do you think Shadows can have light (good) In them?" I ask him, I always wonder  if I will ever find my light (person) that will guide me to happiness, "I don't know, but I'm sure that you will find someone who will guide you to your happiness "he says, I give him a soft smile. I see Rogue and Frosch walking, "i wonder why (y/n) and Shade  are alone and not at the ball"I hear Rogue say to Frosch  "I think so too" Frosch reply. I see Shade get up he starts walking up to Rogue and Frosch "Hey guys" I hear him say,I sight and look at my feet,"Hey Shade, why aren't you guys at the party?" Rogue says, I look at him "because I wanted to be alone" I say quite harshly 'could I have been more rude' I think to myself,"(y/n)! Don't be rude!" Shade says and looks at me disappointedly.

Later that night...

So I'm finally alone,Shade went back at the ball with Rogue and Frosch,I look at my feet,I suddenly hear foot steps getting closer to me, I look up to see Sting standing in front of me, "Hey (y/n), why are you all alone?" He ask and sits right next to me," Because I'm a Shadow " I say simply,he look at he confused "what do you mean?" He ask,I let out a small laugh and roll my eyes "I'm a shadow, no one can see me" I say and look away,he starts laughing and says "I can see you, shade can see you everyone can see you" I sight and get up,I starts walking away from him 'he won't understand ' I think to myself.I feel someone pull my arm (softly) and turn me around,I see Sting look at me "Why did you walk away without even saying anything?!" He says kinda angry, 'jeez what's the big deal' I say to myself and give him an annoyed look "Because you don't understand me"I say and pull my arm away from him and start walking away from him but, he pulls me back to him,I look at him with a serious look "let me go you idiot " I say annoyed , I was starting to get angry. " if I don't understand you then help he understand" he says seriously I on the other hand just let out a small laugh "No one can understand me and no one ever will, sometimes I don't even understand myself so how do you think I can make you understand " I say in a rude/harsh tone, his look softens and he finally lets me go, " just explain to me why you said that no one can see you" he says softly ,I let out a sight and sit on the edge of the cliff,he joins me and looks at me and I look at him "When I said that no one can see me ,I meant  that I'm a Shadow that nobody notices or just forgets me after a while and I basically just drift away in the darkness where nobody can see me, Shade always says that one day I will find someone that will be my light that will guide me to my happiness but I don't think it's true"I say , he looks at without saying a word "I know it sounds crazy huh?" I say and look away also letting out a small laugh. "I t-think that y-you already have f-found someone that w-will be your light that will g-guide you to your h-happiness "I hear him say nervously, I look at him and raise my eyebrows "Are you nervous?"I ask him and let out another small laugh,"N-no I'm not n-nervous,why w-would you think t-that?!" He says still nervous but kinda screechy like a little girl,I roll my eyes "because you're stuttering you idiot " I say and smirk he puts his hands against his heart like his heart is broken "oh you've hurt me so much" he says acting dramatically ,I starts laughing at him,it's been a long time I haven't laughed or been happy like this.
I smile at him " Wow I've never seen you smile before! Do you have the fever?!" He says and puts his hand on my forehead," well your temperature is normal,have you been taking any drugs?" He says,suddenly he starts laughing and soon I start laughing with him.

Later that night...

Me and Sting are laying down next to each other,we're looking at all of the beautiful stars in the sky "wow these starts are beautiful " I say amazed," just like you" he says softly, my eyes widen and I start looking at him " did you just call me beautiful??" I asked surprised," yes ,you really are beautiful you know?" He says with a smile, " you're just saying that because you want me to happy" I say and sight, suddenly he pulls me on top of him, we are now face to face " I am not saying that because I want to make you happy,I said that because it true, you really are beautiful,I love you (y/n)"he says, my eyes  widen "really?" I manage to say still shocked , he nods "I-i love you too!"I whisper loud enough for him to hear me, he suddenly smashes his lips onto mine,after I kissed him back I whispered "I guess you're my light that will guide me to happiness " I smile and then we kissed again.

Omg that was really long to write, but it's finally done,I have a bunch of ideas for my next one shot.
The next one shot will be Rogue x reader so get ready, I'm very sorry if it was a small chapter,but I still hope you liked it
