(RECAP)

~Akira's POV~

Right before I dropped off into sleep, I thought about something that had happened just a few moments before, when Gaara had stopped me from falling off the ledge.

In that split second when Gaara caught me in midair, the taste of iron had filled my mouth. And now, with his arms around me, I realized that I was very much falling in love with this boy, and that I could only hope that Gaara would be there to catch me, once again, when I reached the bottom.

~Third person POV~

The next morning, when the girls woke up to find their hostess absent, they were frantic. Ino went to wake the boys, only to find them searching for Gaara.

Hiding a knowing smile, Ino spoke to them about how Akira was also missing. She proposed a search, to try and find the missing teens.

It didn't take them long, as the apartment was rather small; They had all gathered outside the building, when they looked up, and saw...

"What the fu-"

"Shikamaru! Language!" Temari chided him, slapping his head.

Floating above the apartments, was a perfect sphere. Naruto squinted his eyes, "Is that...?"

Temari sighed, shaking her head, "Well, we know where they are. Let's go."

~Akira's POV~

I opened my eyes, groaning at the knot in my neck. I started to stretch, but two things stopped me:

1.)There wasn't enough room to completely stretch (where in the hell was I, anyway?)

2.)There was a death grip on my arm.

I turned my head, just able to see because the only light was in a small hole atop the....

Sphere.

Bloody great, I'm in a sphere.

Did I mention I'm a bit claustrophobic? I don't think I did.

Swallowing my panic, I turn my head ever so slightly, knowing what to expect, because no one else can touch me besides him.

Gaara.

This boy, this stoic, usually closed off boy is cuddling with my arm.

And boy, somehow he managed to make it look sexy.

I shook Gaara slightly, my lungs becoming more and more constricted with each breath.

I sucked in, "Gaara. Please wake up, before my lungs get any heavier, because they already feel like they're filled with led."

Gaara leaned in closer, a large yawn forming. Then suddenly, his eyes snapped open, and he sat straight up.

And then there was no floor.

I let out a small shriek, wondering where the ground went. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the impact of hitting my water.

It never came;

Tentatively, I popped open one eye, to be met with a sea green one. I opened both eyes, sighing in relief. I really needed to stop falling.

Again, I also need to stop getting in certain positions with the Kazekage.

This time, he was holding me bridal style.

Perfect.

Just. Perfect.
