My friend in biology has taken it upon herself to commission artwork for me during particularly long class periods, and recently she asked me to make the four elements into humans. Here were the results.
Air
I like to think that she's the one who's always making sure no one dies in the group; the unseen mamma hen. She's got a pretty short temper and always wishes she were back at home with her decaf coffee and wind ambiance.

She's the cool-headed one, the restorer of balance, the one who always remembers people's birthdays. She's thoughtful and reserved, but very creative and graceful.
