Walking away from Kimberly, who was causing a huge scene, I bump into someone and drop all my books. Tyler. He smirks and picks everything up.
"Clumsy, my lady." He says, his annoying signature smirk across his face.
"Yes. Thanks for trying to help, but I don't need to be blackmailed again." I say, swatting his hands away from my books.
"Oh c'mon. I really needed some action in my life."
My mood went from angry to thunderstorm angry. My words were lightning, striking him with each syllable.
"You're a jerk." I say, trying to hold myself back from cussing him out.
"Wow, my bad." He says, holding his hands up, and then walking away.
Good. Let him. I can't love him. Anything I love gets destroyed.
A two year relationship I was in from the beginning of freshman year to the beginning of junior year, we were in love. Or at least that's what I thought. It's my fault we're over. It's all my fault.
Tears form in my eyes. I have to be his girlfriend or everyone will know about our incident.
I made a dumb mistake and now he's holding it against me.
How am I going to pretend to love this boy?
