I hear a tap on my window and I shut off my music.
Opening the curtains, I see Tyler on a ladder knocking on my window.
"You couldn't have just went to my door?" I asked, opening my window for him to climb in.
"Well, you probably wouldn't have answered. Your mom might've." He said.
"True." I reply, rolling my eyes and holding in laughter.
"So... This whole relationship thing involves dates right?" He asks.
"Yes." I say. "You've dated almost every girl in the school, you should know this."
"But I want a real relationship. Not one of those one day relationships I usually have." He says, pouting.
"Whatever." I reply, crossing my arms.
"I'll take you to a secret place so no one sees us. If that's what you want." He looks at me, looking desperate to impress me. "My dad and I used to fish where I want to take you all the time."
"Sure. I'll grab my rod." I shrug nonchalantly, and lead him to my garage to grab the rods. Mine was pink.
"A pink fishing rod?" He asks, laughing.
"Yes. And it's amazing." I cross my arms and do a pouty lip. It was amazing.
"Fine." He giggles, and grabs his rod from his garage.
I hope in his black Ferrari, yes, a black Ferrari. I know. How he afforded that I have no idea, and he starts to drive towards the woods, a place I was never allowed to go.
Once we get there, he stops his car and drags me into the woods off the road. We hike up a hill and then there's a cute pond with fish swimming all in it.
"This is cute!" I say, grinning.
"Indeed. Now, I brought some bait just incase you didn't have any." He hands me some worms.
Did I mention I was terrified of bugs and only used minnow bait?
"Uhh..." I look at them, repulsed.
"Don't tell me you're afraid of bugs?" He asks, smirking. There it is, his jerky signature smirk.
"Don't you even laugh, a second ago you were trying to impress me and climbed through my window." I say coldly.
He mutters under his breath. Why does he like me so much? I'm not special, or pretty, or extraordinary.
He's the coolest guy in school, everyone likes him, everyone dates him, and he's extremely, intoxicatingly hot- wait, what did I tell myself about thinking of him like that earlier?
I snap out of my thoughts and see a worm on my hook. I cast out my line and he looks over at me, a soft look in his eyes. Suddenly, his gaze hardens and he turns away.
I look out at my bobber and stay quiet.
He is so.. irritating!
"You annoy me." I snap at him.
"And why is that, Sweetheart?"
"Because you take me out on a date and you don't say anything to me! Not that I want to talk anyways.."
"Oh relax, What do you want me to say?"
"Nothing!" I snap at him.
He looks over at me and looks at my lips.
I know what he wants to do, and that isn't going to happen.
I can't kiss two people in the same day. I already feel bad enough.
"Tyler, no. I've had enough surprises this week and I'm not in the mood to ki-"
He grabs my shoulder gently and kisses me.
My eyes widen.
"You know what I was going to say." I cross my arms and give him a glare.
He smirks "Mhm. Don't pretend you didn't enjoy it."
"Nope."
"Yes."
"Nope.
"Yes."
"No!"
"Yes!"
I put my hands on my hips and stick out my tongue.
Screw you, I liked it.
