Chapter Two: What was that noise?

It's 2:30 am, Dan is woken up by him hearing Phil rustling around the house. Dan sits up quickly, but quietly so Phil won't hear. Then, Dan hears a door shut, and feet running down the stairs. Then, Dan gets up and walks to his window, looking outside. He see's Phil, talking to a man in a black hoodie.

"I'll have you're money by next week! I promise!" Phil says in a worrying tone.

"I've been waiting two weeks for my money Phillip! You know what was going to happen if you didn't have my money by today! You're a part of YouTube and you're famous! You should definitely have my money!"
Says the man with the black hoodie. When Dan was listening to the conversation out his window, he noticed that the strange man had a very unwelcoming personality. He didn't even feel safe standing by his window.

"I'm sorry! I was just about to propose to my boyfriend.. and the ring costed a fortune!"

Dan was shocked.

"He was going to prop-"

"BANG"
Dan was startled by a loud noise that happened right by his window.

Dan looked outside.
