"Oh my god, Dan..." I say, sympathetically, "I'm so sorry! Do you know why?"

"Kind of weird, really... um..." He coughs, looking downwards, "It was because of you."

"M-Me? What did I do?" I exclaim, confused.

"It wasn't your fault at all, Philly. It's just that... Well, basically, she made me promise to stay away from you when we moved back here. We were very close friends, weren't we? It was just too close for her liking..." he sighs, again, "She was in the house when you came to the door and I-"

He stops himself and wipes the tears from his cheeks, "I'm sorry, I'm being stupid."

"Hey, it's okay." I comfort, bringing him into a hug.

He slowly pulls away and places his hands on the sides of my face and I begin to get lost in his dark, chocolate brown eyes.

"I-I-" I stutter, lost for words.

Suddenly, his lips meet mine, in a rough kiss. In shock, I jump back a little, into the wall and he presses me further into it.

I vaguely hear a click of a lock and footsteps but I'm too caught up in the moment to pay any attention.

I find myself beginning to kiss back, before I push Dan off of me, realising what I'm doing.

"Dan," I start, "I have a boyfriend."

"Shit... I'm so sorry..." he says distraught.

"Can we just pass this off as a stupid mistake? It didn't mean anything, right?" I smile.

"Uh... N-No it didn't mean anything. I'm just - I'm just upset about losing my girlfriend; I d-don't have feelings for you or anything."

"Good. I'm glad we're on the same page." I reply, lying a little. I do have feelings for him but they're not as strong as the feelings I have for Dean; he's stayed and cared for me through everything.

"Talking about my boyfriend, I need to talk to him." I reply, my brain still scattered.

"Y-Yeah of course. I'm gonna stay here and... Sort my thought out a bit."

"Okay, bye Dan. See you around." I reply, walking out the door.

I carry on walking down the hall and I catch a glimpse of a guy on the phone.

He carries on speaking, "Yeah, okay boss. I'll just do it then? I'll bring him to you straight afterwards."

He puts his phone in his pocket, before walking into the bathroom I just came out of.

Thinking nothing of it, I carry on to my next lesson.

I had no idea of the consequences.
