"Somebody help me please!" Mona screamed at the top of her lungs.
She fell onto the floor knowing no one could hear her cries.
She looked up and saw the door knob turning.
1 Week earlier
Mona arose quickly as she heard a loud bang downstairs. She put on clothes and ran downstairs; she stood, frozen to her spot. She dropped on her knees and immediately started crying. She peered up and saw her mum on the floor with blood coming out of her mouth. She rung the ambulance and sat by her mum sobbing until they arrived. They lifted her mum onto a stretcher and put her in the ambulance.
