She got no reply. She went to bed and woke up around 5:45 in the morning, she heard a knocking at the door. She put on a robe and walked downstairs. She peered through the curtains and saw a black figure at the door. She heard the door opening. She ran and hid behind the couch. The door opened silently and she heard footsteps creep inside. She could feel the floorboards creaking under her feet. She sat behind the couch and covered her mouth trying to calm herself. The dark figure crept around the corner and walked into the dining room opposite Mona. It looked under every table and chair. It crept around into the room Mona was in. She slouched down as much as she could, the mysterious figure stopped and turned around to face Mona.
"There you are." The man said.
He knocked her out.
