Who said love is easy? Who said love if fun? Who said love will make you happy? Who said this?

I never thought that love is such a pain. I never believed that love would make me feel pain inside. I never thought this will happen to me. All I know is that love will give me anything I want.

The truth is, I'm wrong. I'm wrong to have thought about love in that way. Happiness, filled with a smile every day and make you feel stronger. No matter how hard I try, it always goes wrong. All I know is that, I'm broken hearted. Its broken to pieces which could never be healed.

In the following morning, I woke up as usual. I always wake up at 8:00 AM and do nothing at home. My mom and dad has already gone to work at 6:00 AM. Now I'm alone at home and it feels lonely like never before.

I took the remote control of the TV and sat on the couch changing the channels while watching TV, I kept thinking that yesterday was the worst day of my life. But I will make sure, today will never seem like yesterday.

Suddenly my thoughts are disturbed. My phone is ringing loudly. Looking at my phone I saw Mikhail’s name on my phone screen. I let my phone continue ringing. I don’t want to talk to him right now. Him of all people. Suddenly, I started feeling so down that I decided to turn off my phone and never answer a call from anyone. I just need a little space right now. I don’t want anyone disturbing me except my mom and dad.

(15 minutes later)

I heard a knock at the front door. . Uff..., God! now who is at the door?. Slowly I walk towards the window and flick the curtain aside peering outside.

"Mikhail ?"

I let the curtain slip off my hands. Seeing him outside my house right now made me lose my mind. Should I open the door or let him knock the door?. I think for a while. Closing my eyes for a few seconds I thought about my heart. I decided to open the door. I take a deep breath and opened the door.

I forced myself to smile. I looked around. Kaashvi didn't came with him today. He pinched my cheek.

" Why don't you pick up your phone? ", he asked.

" Ohh, you called me ? I tried my best to sound surprised.
 “I thought a stranger called me, so I decided to not answer it" , I managed to lie.

He nodded. He suddenly took a step forward. My body was feeling so weak when he came closer to me. He touched the side of my face.

"Why did you came here so early?", I asked him.

He smiled. " I was worried about you. You didn’t answer my call. That's why I came here to see you. I was scared if something might have  happened to you.”

I grinned. "Ohh, I think you should not worry about me now. I can take care of myself. So you should take care of your fiancée. I'm afraid she’ll feel jealous."

Mikhail’s eyes widened in shock as he felt an electric tingle go down his spine. "Why are you saying like that? I miss protecting you, being with you.  Don't you feel the same way? I miss treating you like my sister Saima”.

I felt like someone had punched me on the stomach. I glared at him angrily. What did he say just now? sister..... SISTER? God!!.... I ignored that word and said to him.....

Yeah, I also miss the way you did things to me. But, I'm sorry Mikhail, this is the best way for me and for my poor heart. I thought miserably to myself

" I understand. But I'm afraid your fiancée KAASHVI will misunderstand. So you can go now." I knew my words hurt him, but what he had said hurt me even more.

" But, Saima." , he said... I didn’t let him finish his sentence.

" Bye". I said to him and closed the door. Stay away from me Mikhail. Please. Don’t hurt me more than you already have. Saima slipped to the ground and hugged her knees resting her head on them.
